2024 NFL Week 4 Odds and Predictions

Like with Week 3, the NFL has decided to hold two Monday Night Football games in Week 4 of the 2024-25 NFL Regular season. Both games present intriguing matchups, young stars and potential Playoff contenders.

However, Week 4 begins with an NFC East battle as the Dallas Cowboys play divisional rival New York Giants on Thursday Night Football. This game should be an intense battle between two franchises that don’t like each other. As usual, this TNF game can be seen on Amazon Prime.

There are numerous divisional matchups highlighting the Week 4 landscape. The most notable ones are the Jaguars vs. Texans and Chiefs vs. Chargers. These two games will definitely have an impact on each division’s race.

The featured NFL game of the week, is in the AFC Conference as the Buffalo Bills head to Maryland to take on the Baltimore Ravens. This AFC heavyweight battle is between two Super Bowl 59 hopefuls along with two NFL MVP contenders. It will certainly set the tone for both franchises moving forward in the season.

With that in mind, the full slate of NFL Week 4 Odds is not available as of yet. This means that there’s still plenty of time to examine our NFL betting analysis for information and predictions on players, all 32 NFL teams, Divisions, Conferences, and the 2025 Super Bowl.

Key NFL Week 4 Games

With Week 4 of the NFL season featuring all 32 NFL teams, there are a few key Week 4 games that stand out from the rest:

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts

This Week 4 matchup could be a game that impacts the AFC Wild Card race at the end of the season as both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Indianapolis Colts will be fighting for Playoff spots.

Both teams have questions at the quarterback position heading into the season. So, hopefully, those questions will be answered by Week 4.

Last year, the Colts beat the Steelers 30 to 13 at home. However, Pittsburgh had won eight straight meetings between these two teams prior to last season’s defeat. The Steelers also hold a massive advantage in the all-time series with a record of 27-7. The Colts are 1-5 in their last six home games against Pittsburgh.

Can Indy make it two wins in a row, something they haven’t done since the early 70s, or will the Steelers reclaim their spot as “King of the Colts”?

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This Week 4 NFC clash is an opportunity for the Philadelphia Eagles to get revenge against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their crushing Playoff loss. It was a demoralizing ending to Philly’s season as they suffered a 32-9 Wild Card defeat.

Tampa Bay has now won five of the last six head-to-head matchups including the two last Playoff meetings between these teams. The Bucs also have a slight advantage with a 12-11 all-time record in this series.

Both teams are vying for their divisional crowns. The Eagles want to reclaim their NFC East throne, while the Buccaneers are hoping to win the NFC South once again.

Will the Eagles get revenge or will the Buccaneers continue adding to Philly’s misery?

Washington Commanders vs. Arizona Cardinals

On paper, this doesn’t appear to be an intriguing matchup. In fact, both teams could easily come into Week 4 with identical 0-3 records. It’s this possibility that makes this Week 4 game one to keep an eye on.

The loser of this game could end up with a tie breaker advantage for the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Both teams are projected to finish at the bottom of their divisions. With that said, I think the Arizona Cardinals are the better team of these two.

The Washington Commanders have a new head coach, new rookie QB, new offensive and defensive systems that could take time to gel as a team. There’s a distinct possibility that the Commanders could finish with the worse record because of this.

If the Cardinals can win this game. It will buck the trends for this series. Washington holds a massive advantage over the Cardinals with a 77-47-2 record. More recently, the have won 11 out of the last 14 games.

Will this game be a battle of winless teams or will one of these two squads surpass early season expectations?

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Jim Harbaugh will get his first crack at Patrick Mahomes as the Los Angeles Chargers host the Kansas City Chiefs in a big AFC West showdown. Well, this is more of a “big game” for the Chargers than it is the Chiefs.

Kansas City will sleepwalk to another AFC West title. However, the Chargers have undergone some massive changes to coaches and players, which makes this a bit of a rebuilding year.

Additionally, further proving the point that this game is bigger for LA than KC, the Chiefs have gone 17-3 against the Bolts in the last 20 meetings. They’ve won the last five head-to-head meetings and have a 69-58-1 all-time advantage.

Can Harbaugh and the Chargers pull off a big upset or will the Chiefs continue their dominant ways against Los Angeles?

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens

This is by far the biggest matchup for Week 4 and it takes place on Sunday Night Football. For the Buffalo Bills, it’s a third straight Primetime game as they play the Dolphins on TNF in Week 2 and the Jaguars on MNF in Week 3. It’s definitely a tough stretch for these AFC hopefuls.

For the Baltimore Ravens, they also have a few tough games to open the season. In Week 1, they play at Kansas City. In Week 3, they’re on the road at Dallas. Returning home for a game against another AFC elite will definitely make for an intense battle.

The Ravens hold a 6-5 advantage in this series. However, the Bills have won the last two meetings including in the Playoffs a few seasons ago. Baltimore is 5-1 in their last six home games against the Bills.

Can Buffalo pick up a huge road win or will the Ravens continue an impressive streak of winning at home over the Bills?
