The NBA action continues this Wednesday, March 29th, with a total of 10 match-ups on the schedule. You will be pleased to learn that I have explored the bookies’ odds to locate the best NBA player props for today’s games. So, be sure to take advantage of my top five picks.
Nicolas Claxton – Over 9.5 Rebounds (+105)
The Houston Rockets find themselves rock bottom of the Western Conference following a run of six straight defeats. When you look at the bigger picture, the Rockets have managed to win just 18 of their 76 games this season.
For that reason, I expect the Brooklyn Nets to make light work of Houston at Barclays Center on Wednesday and I expect Nicolas Claxton to be at the heart of the action. After all, Claxton has racked up 70 rebounds across his previous seven outings (10 rebounds per game).
Kyrie Irving – Under 24.5 Points (-125)
Thanks to a run of nine victories in 13 games, the Philadelphia 76ers have climbed to third in the Eastern Conference. Over in the Western Conference, the Dallas Mavericks have slipped to 11th, having suffered seven defeats in 10 outings.
Dallas’ Kyrie Irving missed four games due to a foot injury earlier this month. Since his return, the 31-year-old has failed to surpass 18 points in any of his three appearances. With the Mavericks struggling, I’m confident that Irving will score under 24.5 points on Wednesday.
Anthony Davis – Over 10.5 Rebounds (-130)
Anthony Davis has produced multiple standout performances in recent weeks. After bagging 30 points and 22 rebounds against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Los Angeles Lakers forward notched 35 points and 17 rebounds against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Last week, Davis recorded 37 points and 15 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With the Lakers facing the inconsistent Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, I can see Davis dropping another masterclass at United Center.
De’Aaron Fox – Over 24.5 Points (-120)
De’Aaron Fox missed the Sacramento Kings’ eight-point victory over the Utah Jazz last week, as the 25-year-old was sidelined with a hamstring injury. However, Fox swiftly returned to score 29 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves last time out.
As a result, Fox has now registered over 24.5 points in 13 of his previous 19 appearances for the Kings, notching 30+ points on 11 occasions during that period. That’s why I’m backing him to reach that total against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Chris Paul – Over 8.5 Assists (-140)
Only four players average more assists per game than Chris Paul this season. Averaging 9.1 assists per game in 2022-23, the experienced Phoenix Suns guard has helped his team cement fourth place in the Western Conference.
Paul recorded 10 assists against the Utah Jazz last time out, meaning he has notched 10+ assists in five of his past nine outings. Having bagged 13+ assists on three occasions this month, Paul will be confident of enhancing his tally against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
