Atlanta United vs. Portland Timbers Picks

Best Bet: Atlanta United to Win (-134)

Atlanta United continued their unbeaten start to the 2023 Major League Soccer season with a 3-0 victory over Charlotte FC last weekend. Consequently, the Five Stripes find themselves at the summit of the Eastern Conference ahead of Week 4.

Having taken seven points from a possible nine, Atlanta will be confident of defeating the Portland Timbers, who have suffered two defeats in three outings this year. Given their home-field advantage this weekend, the Five Stripes’ price of -134 looks very attractive.

Orlando City vs. Charlotte FC Picks

Best Bet: Orlando City to Win (+100)

As I just mentioned, Charlotte FC suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Atlanta in Week 3. It is worth noting that Christian Lattanzio’s men have yet to pick up a single point this season, starting 2023 with three consecutive losses.

By contrast, Orlando City remains unbeaten this year, having registered one win and two draws. After beating the New York Red Bulls, the Lions held FC Cincinnati and DC United, so I’m confident that Orlando will inflict a fourth successive defeat on struggling Charlotte.

Toronto FC vs. Inter Miami Picks

Best Bet: Both Teams to Score (-175)

Both teams have scored in each of Toronto FC’s three matches this season. Following a 3-2 loss against DC United on the opening weekend, the Reds recorded back-to-back 1-1 draws with Atlanta United and Columbus Crew.

Toronto’s next opponent, Inter Miami, kicked off their campaign with 2-0 victories over CF Montreal and Philadelphia Union before losing 1-0 to New York City last time out. With that in mind, I expect both teams to score when TFC hosts Inter Miami this weekend.

Houston Dynamo vs. Austin FC Picks

Best Bet: Austin FC to Win (+170)

The Houston Dynamo find themselves rock bottom of the Western Conference ahead of Week 4, having failed to register a point this year. After losing 2-1 against FC Cincinnati, Houston suffered a 3-0 crushing against the New England Revolution last time out.

Austin FC, on the other hand, heads into Week 4 on the back of two straight wins, with a 1-0 victory over CF Montreal preceding a 2-1 triumph against Real Salt Lake. In my eyes, odds of +170 for Austin to beat Houston are too tasty to ignore.

New York Red Bulls vs. Columbus Crew Picks

Best Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (-138)

The New York Red Bulls have been involved in three low-scoring games this season, with each one producing under 2.5 goals. Following a 1-0 loss to Orlando, RBNY played out a goalless draw with Nashville before drawing 1-1 with Minnesota United.

It is also worth pointing out that each of the Columbus Crew’s past two matches have dished up under 2.5 goals, as they beat DC United 2-0 before drawing 1-1 with Toronto. Naturally, the under 2.5 goals wager feels like the best bet for this match-up.
