Week 7 Brings New Faces to the NBA Handicapper Leaderboard

Last week, we saw a few new players top the NBA leaderboard. Of course, Knup Sports Pick of the Day takes the #1 spot, which is rightly deserved.

Keep reading to see what other cappers performed well in NBA week 7, and see some of our picks for the upcoming week.

Knup Sports Bets Volume for the W

Knup Sports topped the leaderboard last week with a total of $670 in profit from betting on the NBA. They placed 34 wagers, with a 21-13 record.

Looking at the breakdown, you can see they were most successful with spread wagers, winning over $400 and going 12-7. Then, they placed 15 totals wagers, winning 9 of them overall.

Taking a deeper look, we see that Knup Sports is mainly betting close spreads, +1s, +4s, etc. But, there are a few instances where they’re betting a wider margin. For example, they bet -13 on the Cavaliers vs the Hornets and won. The higher your point value is, whether + or -, the riskier your wager becomes. The risk involved doesn’t correlate to profit, wither, as spreads are almost evenly split -110 on all sides.

That’s why many bettors will bet low numbers in spreads, since they can get similar profits with less risk.

But, it’s clear Knup Sports has a system, and it’s working. If you’re looking for NBA spreads, I’d definitely check them out. Knup Sports is part of the Classic Package, which you can get by signing up at ScoresandStats.com.

Top NBA Handicappers in Week 7

Last week, our top five handicappers wagering on the NBA went 34-14 with a win rate of 70%. The top five are showing improvement over the previous week, which had a 63% win rate.

At first glance, it’s shocking that the win rate is only 70% this week, but the volume of wagers wasn’t there. Knup Sports wagered the most and pushed the numbers, while TonyK, Hoffman, and Burns wagered smaller amounts for 100% win rates.

Overall, the top five walked away from week 7 with $1,860 in profit.

Ryan Davis is Knocked Down a Few Pegs

In week 6, one of our top cappers, Ryan Davis, went 5-1 and brought home $390. But, last week, Davis faltered a bit.

He’s never bet huge volume, but he only placed 5 wagers last week, going 3-2. Still not bad, he’s in the green by $80 at least.

But, he lost a few key spread wagers that would have made a difference, both times on the Suns. He lost a +6 spread vs the Heat, and a -2.5 spread on the Pelicans. They weren’t exactly close games, either.

There’s still time in the season for Davis to get his act together (and maybe rethink his spread betting strategy).

What We’re Watching This Week

There are a few picks in for tonight’s game, the Hawks vs the Knicks. Two spreads at -6.5 for the Knicks and a +7 for the Hawks.

Friday we’ll be watching the Cavaliers vs Wizards game. The Cavaliers are hot this season, right now they’re 21-4. The Wizards are 3-19, so we can pretty much guarantee a Cavaliers win.

And Saturday we see the Emirates Cup Semifinals, with the 4 teams being decided after tonight’s games.
