NHL Player Props Picks for Saturday, February 18th 2023

The NHL action continues this Saturday, February 18th, with a whopping 13 match-ups on the schedule. Thanks to the influx of games, there are plenty of exciting NHL player props to take advantage of. Keep reading to unearth my recommended picks for Saturday’s games.

NHL Sportsbooks

William Nylander – Over 1.5 Points (+165)

Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs Predictions

The Toronto Maples Leafs will be confident of dispatching the Montreal Canadiens at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday, as the Canadiens find themselves rock bottom of the Atlantic Division – six places below the Maple Leafs.

With that in mind, Toronto’s William Nylander looks destined to enjoy plenty of success this weekend. Having racked up five points across his previous two appearances, Nylander shouldn’t struggle to grab over 1.5 points against lowly Montreal.

NHL Moneyline Odds

Andrei Svechnikov – Over 0.5 Points (-145)

Capitals vs. Hurricanes Predictions

Thanks to a run of nine wins in 10 games, the Carolina Hurricanes sit at the summit of the Metropolitan Division. At the opposite end of the standings, the Washington Capitals find themselves third from bottom following three successive losses.

Carolina’s Andrei Svechnikov bagged three points during his team’s 6-2 victory over Montreal last time out. The Russian winger now has registered 11 points in his past 10 outings, so I’m confident that he will add to his tally against the struggling Capitals.

Mika Zibanejad – Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

Rangers vs. Flames Predictions

When the New York Rangers faced the Calgary Flames earlier this month, Mika Zibanejad produced an outstanding individual performance, chalking up three points and eight shots on goal. On Saturday, the Rangers will lock horns with the Flames once again.

Zibanejad has achieved 3+ shots on goal in seven of his previous 10 appearances, helping the Rangers rack up a seven-game winning streak in the process. Since the Flames have lost each of their last two outings, I can see Zibanejad running riot this weekend.

NHL Moneyline Picks

Dylan Larkin – Over 0.5 Assists (+115)

Red Wings vs. Kraken Predictions

Not only have the Detroit Red Wings won each of their last five games, but they have also won seven of their previous nine. For that reason, the Red Wings will fancy their chances of frustrating the Seattle Kraken, who have struggled for consistency in recent weeks.

Detroit’s Dylan Larkin has assisted in six of his past nine appearances and even managed to notch three assists against Calgary last time out. Larkin is priced at +115 to register an assist on Saturday, so I recommend jumping on that price.

Adrian Kempe – Over 0.5 Points (-165)

Coyotes vs. Kings Predictions

Adrian Kempe has been racking up points for fun of late. Indeed, the Los Angeles Kings winger has recorded 13 points across his previous nine outings, with four points coming against the Pittsburgh Penguins last weekend.

Having won each of their last three games, the Kings host the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. The Kings occupy second place in the Pacific Division, while the Coyotes find themselves second from bottom in the Central Division, so Kempe should continue his scoring streak this weekend.
