NCAA Football 6-Point Teaser Picks for Week 8

Clemson vs. Pittsburgh Predictions

Best Bet: Clemson (+9.5)

The Clemson Tigers have been dreadful this year, even in wins. That being said, they are just playing a brand of football that I expect to keep games close, regardless of the opponent they are playing to some degree.

DJ Uiagalelei has really struggled this season, and this has made the entire offensive scheme and its issues come to the forefront. That being said, this offense still tries to hit big plays with downfield throws, and I do expect them to hit more than they have been this season.

Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State Predictions

Best Bet: Oklahoma State (+13.5)

This is an interesting game in the Big 12 that can really have a huge impact on the Big 12 race moving forward. The Cyclones are pretty big favorites considering the records and results this year, but I think that line makes plenty of sense under 7.

We are getting 7.5 up to 13.5, and I just think that this game has to be close enough to stay within this number without turnover luck. Neither of these teams are looking to win this game by 14, and that’s enough for me here.

Wisconsin vs. Purdue Predictions

Best Bet: Purdue (+9.5)

I’ll take the Boilermakers and the points here all day long. Purdue’s defense is significantly underrated, and they have the exact playmaker that has beaten Wisconsin this season. Wisconsin has been leaky downfield this year, but they don’t play many teams that can expose this issue.

Here, I expect David Bell to see a big play or two, and that should be enough to stay within this number given the Badgers’ offensive woes this season.

NCAA Football 10-Point Teaser Picks for Week 8

Ohio State vs. Indiana Predictions

Best Bet: Ohio State (-10)

This isn’t a normal teaser play for me, but it’s one that I had to make because of the circumstances. Ohio State hasn’t punted since CJ Stroud came back from his shoulder injury that pretty clearly impacted him over the first few weeks, and Indiana might as well run the punt team out there on first down.

This Hoosier offense is dreadful, and Ohio State could score 40 against any Big Ten team without even hitting their stride.

LSU vs. Ole Miss Predictions

Best Bet: Ole Miss (+0.5)

Would I suggest teasing through 0 normally? No. Are we going to do it here? Sadly.

Ole Miss is just better than LSU at this point, and even though there was a bit of a dead cat bounce with the Tigers last week, I am all the way out on this team and program.

Matt Coral is still questionable, so I’d like to hear news before betting this, and since we are teasing through 0, a confirmation of him being in won’t kill the action if the line moves.

USC vs. Notre Dame Predictions

Best Bet: USC (+17)

This Notre Dame defense hasn’t been impressive all season outside of the star safety Kyle Hamilton. I think that USC has the QB play and the athletes to test this defense and put up enough points to keep this close.

The Fighting Irish aren’t dominant on the lines like they have been in this matchup recently, and I think that is the reason that they cannot just dominate this matchup.
