This event isn’t quite as loaded as most big UFC events are, but it still has 10 fights to work with. Sadly, only the bouts displayed above actually have pricing at the moment.
You can still find odds for ONE Fight Night 27 at most online sportsbooks, though, and we still have enough fights to work some magic with. A few of these bouts are priced as lopsided affairs, which could make hunting for some upset picks somewhat appealing.
I’ll go over each fight, issue my winner prediction, and break down why I like that pick. Of course, these preferred plays are just one way to bet on MMA matches this weekend.

ONE Fight Night 27 Predictions
The action fires off at 8:00 pm EST at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand and can be viewed on Prime Video. Ready for the winner predictions for each fight? Let’s rock.
Akbar Abdullaev (-310) vs. Kai Tang (+225)
The man known as Bakal, Akbar Abdullaev (11-0) is a sizable favorite when he enters the main event to touch gloves with Kai Tang (19-2).
Abdullaev is obviously undefeated to this point, but he’s also a dangerous and explosive fighter with elite finishing ability (10 KOs). In fact, every single fight of his has ended early, with his 11th victory coming via submission.
He’s so dominant that he has come out and said that “judges are not necessary in my fights”. The guy is that confident that he will again get an early finish, and the pricing doesn’t seem to disagree.
That said, a title is on the line here, and Tang is no slouch. He has two losses on his ledger, but he’s never been finished early and he is also quite explosive (15 career knockouts). The 28-year old has the more impressive record and more overall experience
To his credit, Tang also has three inches in height and three inches in reach over his competition in this bout. I certainly give Tang a chance to keep Akbar at bay, but this fight feels like a changing of the guard is about to arrive.
Bet: Akbar Abdullaev (-310)
Suablack Tor Pran (-145) vs. Dmitrii Kovtun (+110)
The 28-year old Tor Pran has been sensational at times in the ONE FC, posting a 6-2 record with four knockouts. That’s a 67% finish rate for those keeping score at home, and his explosive ability will be on full display in a tough test against Dmitrii Kovtun.
Tor Pran is the favorite here, but his recent form is a bit troubling. He’s dropped two straight, as he lost to Kiamran Nabati in June and Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai in September – both by knockout.
Tor Pran is an all or nothing fighter, which does give Kovtun a shot at the upset. The 27-year old Russian does have a height advantage going into this one, but in two ONE FC bouts he’s failed to land a finish.
Kovtun is just 1-1 so far and he got KO’d in his last bout in November. This one does feel like a bit of a coin toss, but Tor Pran has looked like the more impactful fighter and I’d expect him to get back on track in this one. All things considered, he’s a solid value at his -145 price tag.
Bet: Suablack Tor Pran (-145)
Chihiro Sawada (-460) vs. Meng Bo (+305)
Another huge favorite is Chihiro Sawada. The Tokyo native is still undefeated at age 27, despite not having a single knockout on her resume.
Sawada has been a problem on the canvas, though, as she’s racked up three submissions and has ground her way to five Decision victories. She’s 8-0 overall and 2-0 so far in ONE FC, and she comes in as a big favorite despite giving up five inches in height and nearly five more in reach.
That could easily end up being a problem for her against Meng Bo (21-7), who is far more experienced and offers more proven finishing ability (8 KOs, 6 submissions). Bo’s recent form is a bit suspect (2-3 over her last five fights).
I don’t know if Bo is more skilled here, but I do know two things; she may be able to overpower the smaller Sawada if the fight goes to the floor, and she has the goods to five her fits if it stays standing up.
Everything is leaning toward Sawada’s dominant ground game, but the size and reach advantage makes Bo a very intriguing upset pick.
Bet: Meng Bo (+305)
Aaron Canarte (-145) vs. Timofey Nastyukhin (+110)
If you’re looking for a ONE FC bout that’s tough to call on this slate, this battle between Aaron Canarte (10-2) and Timofey Nastyukhin (11-3) might be the most difficult.
It’s a tight matchup based on the pricing, with the 28-year old Canarte coming in as the slight betting favorite. The man known as Tommy Gun has some finishing ability (3 KOs and 3 submissions), but has not impressed so far (0-2) inside this promotion.
He was previously undefeated before elevating to ONE FC, so the odds indicate he’s due for a bounce-back here against Nastyukhin. Nastyukhin is considerably older at 36 years old and could be nearing the end.
Nastyukhin still has a solid record and is a versatile fighter, but he got TKO’d two last January. It’s never good when a guy struggles early when moving up to a new promotion, but in this spot I’d rather go with the younger, hungrier fighter.
Bet: Aaron Canarte (-145)
Sanjar Zakirov (-1200) vs. Tatsumitsu Wada (+650)
From the closest ONE Fight Night 27 bout to the most lopsided, we go. Sanjar Zakirov is a massive betting favorite at -1200, as he is fully expected to add to his unblemished 12-0 career record.
It’s never fun to bet against undefeated fighters, but it’s even worse when they’re this talented. The man known as Tornado is quite versatile and very explosive, as he’s recorded five KO wins and four submissions in his young career.
The wildest part? He’s impossibly still only just 21 years old.
Zakirov is just 1-0 under the ONE FC banner, but his debut was very impressive; a TKO dispatching of Ryosuke Honda last March. The odds and basically everything else about him and this match suggest he will stay hot at ONE Fight Night 27.
On the other side is Tatsumitsu Wada, who has insane experience and is a solid 25-12. His recent form isn’t even bad (4-2 over his last six bouts), so if you wanted to roll the dice on his odds, I couldn’t blame you.
Unfortunately, there is a gap in talent here and it seems as though Zakirov is a star in the making. I’d target some ONE Fight Night 27 prop bets instead of betting on the moneyline, but he’s still the correct winner pick.
Bet: Sanjar Zakirov (-1200)
Dante Leon (-460) vs. Tommy Langaker (+305)
This is another fight where the odds greatly favor one side. The guy projected to win this time is Dante Leon, who is regarded as one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu talents out there.
The 29-year old is just 1-0 in ONE FC competition so far, but his debut was about as good as it gets – a submission win over Bruno Pucci.
Leon is favored to take care of business again this weekend, as he prepares to face Tommy Langaker. The 30-year-old is known for his elite grappling skills, but he has failed to impress (2-2) under the ONE FC banner and is projected to suffer his third defeat here.
Bet: Dante Leon (-460)
Parham Gheiratimarkeye (-220) vs. Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon (+165)
The only other fight with ONE Fight Night 27 odds at the moment is this bout between Parham Gheiratimarkeye (6-0) and Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon (4-2).
Both of these fighters have explosive ability, but just one of them has a perfect record in ONE FC action. That’s Gheiratimarkeye, who has four knockouts in six bouts and just took out George Mouzakitis in October.
Both of these guys are only 21 years old and have the ability to get the win. I don’t hate the upside associated with Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon, but to this point Gheiratimarkeye has exhibited few flaws and has been the more dominant fighter.
Bet: Parham Gheiratimarkeye (-220)
