But there are still some signature games that will take place starting with No. 10 Ole Miss traveling to No. 18 Auburn. Also, the No. 1 ranked team in the land – Georgia – is taking on Florida for their storied rivalry. Both games feature ranked teams with unranked Florida hoping to be the spoiler in the Dawgs run to the SEC Championship game.

That game will be played in Jacksonville at the home of the Jaguars and it has become one of the biggest college football rivalries in the country. Last year the Gators posted 24 points in the 2 nd quarter to win over the Bulldogs 44-28. You can bet that they want to pull that magic out again this year. During that game, Florida was ranked No. 13 while Georgia came in at No. 7.

Georgia vs. Florida Week Predictions

Odds: Georgia -14.5 (110) vs Florida +14.5 (110)

Georgia is the No.1 team in the country and they are in charge of their destiny this weekend against unranked Florida. The game, known as the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, takes place at TIAA Bank Field which is the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Georgia comes in 7-0 while Florida is 4-3.

Georgia has to get by Florida to move towards the SEC Championship game and the Gators would love to put a pothole in the way! Florida needs to avoid mistakes and try to move the ball against the Georgia defense. Georgia has to keep pressure off of their QB Stetson Bennett and watch out for Florida going for big plays early.

Best Bet: Florida +14.5 (110)

Ole Miss vs. Auburn Predictions

This is a battle of two ranked teams with two completely different styles of playing. Ole Miss comes in as the No.10 team in the nation with an offense that is fast-paced with a passion for going for it on 4th down. Auburn’s offense seems to still be finding itself as one week they look as if they have a formulated game plan.

Then, a week later, they look like it’s a game of backyard football with QB Bo Nix running all over the place. The key for both teams will be defense and the running game for Auburn. Both teams have an offense that can explode with points. Nix is looking better for the Tigers and his receivers caught the ball better in their last game. For Ole Miss, Matt Corral is now getting Heisman talk! This game may be the best contest of the weekend.

Best Bet: Ole Miss +2.5 (110)

2021 SEC Football Week 9 Predictions

Missouri vs. Vanderbilt Predictions

When: Saturday, October 30 at 3:00 p.m. on SEC Network

Odds: Missouri -16 (110) vs Vanderbilt +16 (110)

This is a matchup between two teams that have yet to win an SEC conference game. Vanderbilt is riding a three-game losing streak with an overall record of 2-6 and 0-4 against SEC teams. They were close against the Gamecocks but a last-minute field goal by South Carolina dashed the Commodore’s opportunity for their first conference win. Missouri comes in after a hard loss (35-14) to Texas A&M with an 0-3 record in the SEC but 3-4 overall. The good news for both of these teams is that they seem to be better on offense than at the beginning of the year. But both need help on defense.

Best Bet: Vanderbilt +16 (110)

Kentucky vs. Mississippi State Predictions

When: Saturday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. on SEC Network

Odds: Kentucky -1 (110) vs Mississippi State +1 (110)

Kentucky comes in after a hard loss to Georgia where the Bulldogs went to Lexington for the 30-13 win. Kentucky was hoping they could get more going against Georgia and are aiming to knock off Mississippi State on the road. However, Mississippi State is getting better at defense and that will help them stay in the game. Look for both teams to make use of short passing plays and plenty of runs up the middle. This is a tighter game than you would expect for a ranked team playing an unranked team. A field goal or missed extra point could determine everything.

Best Bet: Kentucky -1 (110)
