College Football 6-Point Teaser Picks for Week 9
Michigan vs. Michigan State Picks
Best Bet: Michigan State +10
The Spartans and the Wolverines are undefeated coming into this game, but I think Sparty has been a bit more impressive overall this season. The play on this game is simply that Michigan has struggled to create explosive plays this season without Ronnie Bell, and that should not be any different in this game.
Michigan State’s offense has been quick strike or misses a lot of the season, but this is a game where only a big play or two should be enough to cover this number.
Iowa State vs. West Virginia Picks
Best Bet: Iowa State -1.5
The Cyclones are back to their old ways of getting better as the season rolls on, and I think we see them roll an average West Virginia team here. West Virginia is not great on either side of the ball, and I expect Iowa State to hold the running game in check in this one. That should be enough for Breece Hall and Brock Purdy to take this one home easily.
Best Bet: Maryland +1
This is another rare spot where I want to tease through 0 in a game that should be a bit strange. Maryland and Indiana are both banged up in major ways, and the only difference is that Indiana is on its third-string corner, and I think that spells disaster for Indiana on the road. This team got hammered by Ohio State last week, and I believe that their season might as well be over.
We won’t talk about it much, but Indiana came into the season with sky-high expectations, and those have been absolutely obliterated. While Maryland is not an excellent team, we will see two teams with different mindsets based on how they were expected to play this season.

College Football 10-Point Teaser Picks for Week 9
Penn State vs. Ohio State Picks
Best Bet: Ohio State -8.5
Back to the well here with the Buckeyes, and this one feels GREAT. In recent weeks, Penn State cannot move the ball, and Ohio State moves the ball like they are playing against 8-year-olds. I think that there is still reason to be concerned that Ohio State’s defense isn’t as good as it has been after the Tulsa game, but Penn State scored 10 in regulation vs. Illinois last week at home. They’re not the ones to test the defense, even if they have some talent.
Best Bet: UCLA +16.5
I think that Utah has been a better team with Cam Rising at QB, but I don’t think they’re 6.5 points better than UCLA. Now we teased it up to 16.5, and I think most teams in the country would have a tough time beating UCLA by 16.5, barring many turnovers.
Best Bet: Iowa +13
The Hawkeyes are a dog on the road in Madison but do we trust either of these teams to even score 13, never mind 13 more than the other? Wisconsin loves themselves a good turnover, and Iowa is the best in the country at getting turnovers and turning them into points. If we get just one, I think we are in the clear here.
