There are plenty of great MLB games taking place this Tuesday evening. Let’s take a look at how some of these games may shake out!
Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Yankees
Best Bet: Over 8 Runs
The Yankees have been crushing it with their bats the entire season, and with that, they’re currently on pace for well over 100 wins.
The Bombers may have split their recent series against their heated rival in the Boston Red Sox, but in each game, they scored at least five runs.
The Reds, on the other hand, recently swept the Tampa Bay Rays, as they put up 10 runs in Sunday’s game.
With both teams coming into play red hot, expect them to both go for over 8 runs combined.
Boston Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Best Bet: Over 7.5 Runs
If this was like 2017 or 2018, Chris Sale vs. Corey Kluber would be a very highly anticipated pitching duel. However, things can change dramatically in five years, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t turn the clock every now and then.
The Red Sox have been red hot with their bats recently, putting up 10 runs on Sunday and five runs in last night’s loss to the Rays.
The Rays put up 10 runs on the Red Sox last night, as they too have been hot.
The final score may not come out to 10-5 like it did last night, but expect the bats to show up yet again in this one.
New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves
Best Bet: Under 8.5 Runs
With the NL East up for grabs between these two teams, they will almost certainly bring their best brand of baseball to the ballpark with them.
The Mets MO is pitching, and although David Peterson has been shaky recently, it wouldn’t be a shock if he brings his best stuff and at least contains the Braves in this one.
Spencer Strider has also been dealing recently, giving up just one run in his last 18 innings pitched over his last three starts.
Strider was able to shut down both the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals during that stretch.
With pitching being the primary focus in this game, expect the final score to hit the under.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Best Bet: Over 8.5 Runs
The Dodgers put up 11 runs their last time out, as they possess one of the most dangerous lineups in the MLB.
The Cardinals put up six runs in their win last night, as they too have a lineup capable of inflicting some serious damage.
Mitch White doesn’t give the most length for the Dodgers but doesn’t give up too many runs either.
Matthew Liberatore is on and off, but with him facing the Dodgers, he can very well struggle to find his command.
This isn’t exactly a pitching duel, so expect both teams to be able to find a way to put up a good amount of runs on the board.
