On Saturday, February 1, the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble will be live from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. This weekend’s event marks the 38th annual Royal Rumble show. It’s one of WWE’s Big 4 PPVs along with WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series.
WrestleMania is the pinnacle of pro wrestling and sports entertainment PPVs. Yet, the Royal Rumble has been my favorite annual event ever since Ric Flair won the 1992 Royal Rumble match. Which, to this day, is still the greatest Royal Rumble of all-time. I was also a big fan of the early Survivor Series PPV formats. But I digress.
The Royal Rumble is the next stop along the road to WrestleMania 41 on April 19 and April 20. This month, the WWE has already had two notable milestones with their Netflix debut and Saturday Night’s Main Event.
As you can guess, the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches are the centerpieces to this weekend’s PPV spectacle. However, there are a few other matches that should be highly entertaining like the WWE Tag Team Championship match and the Undisputed WWE Ladder match.
Let’s take a closer look at the available WWE odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our WWE Royal Rumble predictions. This weekend’s Royal Rumble event has a 6pm ET start time on Peacock.
WWE Royal Rumble Card
WWE Match | Favorite | Prediction |
---|---|---|
WWE Tag Team Match | DIY (-500) | DIY (-500) |
Undisputed Championship Ladder Match | Cody Rhodes (-2500) | Cody Rhodes (-2500) |
Women’s Royal Rumble Match | Charlotte Flair (-110) | Charlotte Flair (-110) |
Men’s Royal Rumble Match | Seth Rollins (-200) | CM Punk (-150) |
As expected, the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches have a lengthy list of betting options with the favorites at smaller odds. As of this writing, Seth Rollins (-200) and Charlotte Flair (-110) are the odds-on favorites in their respective matches. The main singles match, for the Undisputed Championship, sees Cody Rhodes as a large favorite (-2500). In fact, Rhodes’s odds continue to increase as we get closer to the PPV.
WWE Royal Rumble Predictions
The following WWE Royal Rumble predictions are for the confirmed matches as of this writing:
WWE Tag Team Title Match
- DIY (-500)
- MCMG (+300)
DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) are a two-time WWE Tag Team champions under this version of the tag titles. As a refresher, this new tag title was introduced in 2016.
DIY first won the titles in July 2024, but only held it for about four weeks before dropping the belts to Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. Eventually, Fatu would give up his part of the tag belts to fellow member Tonga Loa so that The Tongans would be the rightful champs and Fatu would protect Solo Sikoa.
The Tongans held the titles for 84 days before dropping them to The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) on October 25, 2024. These two veterans would hold the belts until December 6, 2024, when they lost them to DIY who are the current champs.
DIY used a ruse on MCMG by pretending there was dissension within as Ciampa was going full heel. Eventually, Gargano would trick MCMG by taking a cheap shot on the champs and revealing DIY’s dastardly plan.
MCMG would end up going through a few other tag teams before earning a rematch with DIY at the Royal Rumble PPV for the tag team belts.
Over the last eight months, we’ve had four tag-team title reigns. None lasting more than 84 days. DIY is nearing the two-month mark.
So, you have to ask yourself if the WWE will take the titles off DIY for a second time and put them back on MCMG for a second time.
Personally, after the amount of TV time they put into DIY’s ruse, I just don’t see the WWE taking the belts off of them right now. Instead, I think there’s a better chance that DIY cheats to retain the belts rather than losing them. Either way, this is going to be a great tag team match with four fantastic workers.
Bet: DIY (-500)
WWE Undisputed Championship Ladder Match
- Kevin Owens (+800)
- Cody Rhodes (-2500)
The beginning of this feud can be traced back to the Bash in Berlin PLE in late August, 2024. At that event, Cody Rhodes defended the WWE Undisputed Championship against Kevin Owens.
At the time, Rhodes said he was giving Owens a title shot because he deserved it after his lengthy battle against The Bloodline and for helping Rhodes when being attacked by the heel faction. Of course, Rhodes would win the match.
At Bad Blood in October 2024, Rhodes would begrudgingly team up with his longtime nemesis Roman Reigns to battle The Bloodline. After the event, footage was released with Owens arguing and attacking Rhodes in the parking lot due to Cody teaming up with Reigns. Owens deemed that an act of betrayal due to the lengthy feud they had against The Original Bloodline led by Reigns.
Randy Orton tried to calm the situation between these two men, but that would only enrage Owens even further. He would then go on to savagely attack Orton a few weeks after Bad Blood. This led to a match at Crown Jewel in November, which Owens won.
Eventually, the back-and-forth feud between Rhodes and Owens would culminate in a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2024. Of course, Rhodes would win this match as well. However, Owens would brutally attack Rhodes after the match and draw the ire of Triple H.
At the January 25, 2025, edition of SNME, Owens and Rhodes would have a contract signing for their ladder match at Royal Rumble. Ultimately, this led to the moderator, Shawn Michaels, landing a sweet chin music on Owens.
Let’s also not forget that Owens recently asked for his longtime friend Sami Zayn to have his back at the Rumble and that he would do the same. Could this be an opportunity for Owens to win the match with the help of Zayn and then not repay the favor in the men’s RR match?
Oddsmakers do not see that happening. They have Rhodes listed as a large betting favorite. Personally speaking, I would love to see this outcome happen.
Unfortunately, I don’t see the WWE taking the title off of Rhodes at the Rumble. Not with WM 41 less than three months. Rhodes is one of the company’s top stars and has held the title for almost a year.
As much as I would love to see Owens as the legitimate champ, and not due to stealing a title, the WWE doesn’t have the testicular fortitude to make this booking decision. Instead, I think Rhodes loses the belt at Mania, if he loses it at all this year.
One last note about this match. With roughly 7 to 10 days out from the PPV event, Cody Rhodes was listed as a -1200 betting favorite. His odds have doubled since then. As of this writing, Rhodes is now a larger favorite with -2500 betting odds. Kevin Owens went from +600 to +800, which isn’t quite the jump in odds compared to Rhodes.
Bet: Cody Rhodes (-2500)
Women’s Royal Rumble Match
Women’s Royal Rumble Odds | Women’s Royal Rumble Odds |
---|---|
Charlotte Flair (-110) | Becky Lynch (+200) |
Rhea Ripley (+300) | Iyo Sky (+350) |
Bianca Belair (+600) | Jade Cargill (+800) |
Alexa Bliss (+800) | Liv Morgan (+1200) |
Nia Jax (+1200) | Raquel Rodriguez (+1400) |
Roxanne Perez (+1600) | Tiffany Stratton (+1600) |
Bayley (+1800) | Naomi (+2000) |
Trish Stratus (+2000) | Asuka (+2500) |
Shayna Baszler (+2500) | Jordynne Grace (+3000) |
Giulia (+3000) | Chelsea Green (+3000) |
Kairi Sane (+3000) | Candice LeRae (+3500) |
The first ever women’s Royal Rumble match was held in 2018. That year, Asuka won the inaugural and historic match. Since then, Becky Lynch (2019), Charlotte Flair (2020), Bianca Belair (2021), Ronda Rousey (2022), Rhea Ripley (2023) and Bayley (2024) have won the women’s Royal Rumble match.
Of these winners, Ripley is the only wrestler to have won the match as the first entrant. Both Bayley and Belair entered their respective matches with the third spot.
Let’s take a look at some of the more notable names in this match, break down their chances of winning, and then make our predictions as to who will win the women’s Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania 41 to challenge for a women’s championship.
Charlotte Flair (-110): Flair enters the Royal Rumble match as the odds-on favorite to win. As mentioned above, The Queen won this match in 2020, but was also the last one eliminated in 2022 by Rousey and 2019 by Lynch. Flair is returning from a lengthy absence due to an injury and is set to make a massive impact upon her return.
Becky Lynch (+200): Lynch took a lengthy hiatus last year, after her contract expired with the WWE. She spent time with her daughter and real-life husband Seth Rollins. Lynch re-signed with WWE over the last month or two and is ready to reclaim her spot at the top of the division. The 2019 winner, is poised for a big match at WM 41, but that doesn’t mean she will win the RR match to get there.
Rhea Ripley (+300): The top star for the entire women’s division is Rhea Ripley. The current champ is clearly one of the favorites for this RR match. The 2023 RR winner has multiple challengers already, so a RR win isn’t necessary. With that said, if she enters this bout, Ripley has to be seriously considered for at least a final four spot, if not the victory.
Bianca Belair (+600): The 2021 winner need to be elevated back into title contention on either show after a lengthy run in a tag team with Jade Cargill. Belair is a superior athlete to most of the women’s roster and a win at Royal Rumble would put her back on top of the division.
Jade Cargill (+800): If Cargill had reached the level of in-ring work that most pundits and officials believe she can get to, then she would be the favorite to win this match. This is the perfect launching pad for someone like her. Nevertheless, if Cargill is healthy enough to compete in this match, I expect her to make an impact even if she doesn’t win.
Liv Morgan (+1200): Liv Morgan is the former women’s champ who lost her title to Ripley after a lengthy rivalry. Morgan is also the woman who was eliminated last in both the 2023 and 2024 Royal Rumble matches. Is this the year that Morgan finally wins?
Nia Jax (+1200): For a woman who is one of the most dominant forces in the promotion, it really is a surprise that Nia Jax has yet to win the Royal Rumble. Sure, she’s been in high-profile matches and feuds throughout 2024, but a RR win would be the biggest accomplishment on her resume. The only problem is, WWE seems to be hesitant on elevation Jax to the same level as Flair, Lynch, and Ripley.
Tiffany Stratton (+1600): One of two women’s champs, Tiffany Stratton really broke out in 2024. She’s a super talented performer and is destined to be one of the top stars for years to come. With that said, I don’t see Stratton winning the RR match considering she already holds a championship.
Bayley (+1800): Bayley won the Royal Rumble last year and went on to WrestleMania to win the women’s championship over Iyo Sky after a lengthy build and satisfying payoffs. Her title reign fell short of the build to it, but Bayley is a consummate pro who could easily win this match for a second year in a row.
Trish Stratus (+2000): The WWE HOF star, Trish Stratus, has not wrestled in the WWE since Payback 2023 when she fought Becky Lynch in a steel cage match. Stratus is said to be going to Indianapolis but has yet to be announced for this match. It’s more than likely that Stratus will make a surprise appearance in the RR match, but won’t win. And, she doesn’t need to win it as Stratus could easily have a match with anyone on the roster at any given time.
Asuka (+2500): The first ever winner of the women’s Royal Rumble match, has been absent since last summer due to a knee injury. However, the talented Japanese star is reportedly ready to return to the ring and this weekend’s PPV is the perfect time for her to return.
Jordynne Grace (+3000): The former TNA Knockouts World Champion (three times) has reportedly already signed with the WWE and is poised to enter the Royal Rumble match. This is the perfect scenario for Grace to demonstrate her physical dominance and make a huge name for herself. I expect the WWE to push her in this match like Bron Breakker or Jacob Fatu in the men’s RR match.
Who Wins The Women’s Royal Rumble Match?
This is one of the most stacked women’s Royal Rumble matches of all time. There are a handful of stars that could win this match and nobody would complain. With that in mind, let’s start dwindling this down until our predicted winner.
With Ripley and Stratton already carrying world titles, there’s no need for either woman to win this match. If anything, one of them could be facing the winner at WrestleMania.
Additionally, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax both seem to be on the outside looking in on winning this match. Both women were recent champions and appear destined for other storylines that don’t involve winning the RR match. Morgan could be looking at the women’s tag-team belts and Jax could be in line for an eventual feud with Stratton.
As long as they enter, I expect both Cargill and Grace to have strong showings. Each woman has the look to be a star, but it all comes down to delivering high-quality matches. Of the two, Grace is ahead in this department. I think this match could launch both into more prominent stories or feuds, but neither are set up to win on Saturday.
In my opinion, a former women’s Royal Rumble winner will make history on Saturday night by becoming the first female WWE star to win a second RR match. When you think about making history, there is one woman that comes to mind – Charlotte Flair.
Flair is arguably the greatest female wrestler of all time. Sure, Lynch, Belair, Bayley and Ripley are all super talent and have closed the gap considerably, but when it comes to making history – the last name of Flair seems to get this job done more times than not.
When I first heard that Flair would be back, I automatically thought she would win the Royal Rumble and regain a footing at the top of the women’s division. From there, she would reclaim her throne at WrestleMania by either reigniting her rivalry with Ripley or taking on Stratton. Either way, The Queen will win her second RR match.
Bet: Charlotte Flair (-110)
Women’s Royal Rumble Match Prop Bets
The following Women’s Royal Rumble prop bets are courtesy of BetOnline:
Anyone Eliminated In Under 10 Seconds
- Yes (-200)
- No (+150)
Personally, I always find it silly when a wrestler gets eliminated quickly. It’s been done far too many times and doesn’t really add any excitement to the match.
The record for the quickest elimination in a women’s Royal Rumble match is five seconds. Yes, you read that correctly. Chelsea Green (2023) and Valhalla (2024) were both eliminated in just five seconds. Basically, that’s long enough to get into the ring before getting tossed right back out.
This year, I’m sure WWE will continue the streak of silly eliminations in under 10 seconds.
Bet: Yes (-200)
The Most Total Eliminations
- Over 7 eliminations (-150)
- Under 7 eliminations (+110)
In four of the last five women’s Royal Rumble matches, the most eliminations by one competitor have been seven or more. Currently, the record for the most eliminations in a single RR match is eight. That record is held by Belair, Jax, and Shayna Baszler. Ripley came close in 2023, but finished with seven.
Will there be another competitor to tie the all-time record?
That’s asking a lot considering there are so many talented stars in this match. Belair, Flair, Jax, Grace, and Cargill could all eliminate seven or more wrestlers. But they can’t all do it in the same match.
I like this number to be 7 or less. If it hits seven exactly, then it will be a push. So, the smart bet is to take the under. I think someone like Jax, Grace or Cargill could end up getting six eliminations.
Bet: Under 7 eliminations (+110)
Who Will Eliminate Charlotte Flair?
- Bianca Belair (+150)
- Iyo Sky (+200)
- Becky Lynch (+300)
- Jordynne Grace (+300)
- Nia Jax (+400)
- Jade Cargill (+500)
In 2018, Flair wasn’t even in the RR match. In 2019, Flair was eliminated at the end by the winner Becky Lynch. The Queen would go on to win the 2020 Royal Rumble. In 2021, she was eliminated by Ripley and Belair. In 2022, Ronda Rouse won the RR match after eliminating Flair at the end. She didn’t compete in the last two Royal Rumble matches.
As I mentioned above, I picked Flair to win this Royal Rumble bout. So, I don’t see her being eliminated this weekend.
Bet: No Bet. Flair wins the Royal Rumble.
Who Will Eliminate Bianca Belair?
- Jade Cargill (+150)
- Naomi (+200)
- Charlotte Flair (+300)
- Becky Lynch (+300)
- Jordynne Grace (+400)
- Nia Jax (+400)
- Liv Morgan (+500)
Last year, Belair was eliminated by Liv Morgan. She didn’t compete in 2023, and was eliminated by Flair in 2022. Belair won in 2021, after making her first RR appearance in 2020. Her debut was cut short by Charlotte Flair that year as well.
Two of her four RR appearances ended with Flair eliminating her. Could we see this happen a third time? More than likely, Belair’s elimination would be the perfect setup for a feud with her former tag-team partner Jade Cargill. This is the exact scenario where the WWE has done things like this in the past.
Cargill is the favorite option for this WWE prop bet, while Flair offers more value.
Bet: Jade Cargill (+150)
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
Men’s Royal Rumble Odds | Men’s Royal Rumble Odds |

Seth “Freakin” Rollins (-200) | John Cena (-150) |

Damian Priest (+3000) | Bron Breakker (+4000) |
Unlike the women’s Royal Rumble match which began in 2018, the first ever men’s RR match took place in 1988, and won by Hacksaw Jim Duggan. However, that first year wasn’t like the current format we’re used to. This current Royal Rumble format began in 1989. Big John Studd ended up winning that year before Hulk Hogan would win the next two RR matches and then Flair’s win in the greatest Royal Rumble of all-time (1992).
With that said, let’s take a look at some of the notable names in this match, break down their chances of winning, and then make our predictions as to who will win the men’s Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania 41 to challenge for one of the championships.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins (-200): Seth Rollins is the odds-on favorite to win the 2025 Royal Rumble as he makes his seventh appearance in this match. Rollins won the RR in 2019 and has finished in the Top 4 on three occasions. He did not enter this match last year, and last competed in the 2023 RR. That year, he finished 4th and was eliminated by Logan Paul.
John Cena (-150): We all know by now that this will be John Cena’s year of retirement. So, this will be his 9th and final Royal Rumble entry. Cena is a two-time winner having won in 2008 and 2013. He’s also finished runner up on two occasions (2005, 2010) and finished in the Top 4 on five different entries. Cena hasn’t competed in the RR since 2018, when he finished third and was eliminated by Nakamura.
CM Punk (-150): For CM Punk, this will be his 8th appearance in the Royal Rumble match. Punk has never won a RR match, but was runner up last year before being eliminated by Cody Rhodes. It was also where Punk suffered a torn triceps and missed five months of action. That was his first RR appearance since 2014 when he finished 4th.
Roman Reigns (+125): Roman Reigns has six RR appearances under his belt and won this match in 2015. He’s also been runner up on four occasions (2014, 2017, 2018, 2020), which is the most of any wrestler. In fact, Reigns has never finished outside of the Top 4 in a RR match. His worst result came in 2016, when he finished third.
The Rock (+600): The Rock has yet to be confirmed for entry into the RR. So, it could be a huge “surprise” if he does show up. His last RR appearance came in 2001, when The Rock finished third. He won the 2000 Royal Rumble and has three Top 3 finishes in his four career appearances. If he does show, then this could be the moment that we get a Rock turn on Reigns.
Randy Orton (+800): Randy Orton has 14 career appearances in the Royal Rumble having won in 2009 and 2017. He was also runner up twice and has eight Top 4 finishes. In fact, his average finish is 4.71 in his 14 appearances with 12th being his worst result (2004). Orton hasn’t competed in this match since 2022 when he finished 6th. If he shows up this year, then he will have the third most RR appearances ever.
Brock Lesnar (+1000): Like The Rock, Lesnar’s return is not a guarantee. In fact, there’s less of chance considering his legal issues outside of the ring. If he does return, Lesnar would make his 7th RR appearance, having won in 2003 and 2022. He has two Top 4 finishes and 32 total eliminations. In fact, he holds the record for most eliminations in a RR match with 13. I doubt he shows up this weekend. Lesnar hasn’t been in a WWE match since SummerSlam 2023.
Sami Zayn (+1200): Sami Zayn is listed with higher odds than I would’ve guessed heading into the Rumble. Zayn’s best result came last year when he finished 5th. This year marks his 7th appearance in the RR match, which he only has three eliminations for his career. I think Zayn is a name to avoid this weekend unless he gets involved in Owens’ match against Rhodes.
Logan Paul (+1400): Logan Paul didn’t compete in the Rumble last year. So, his only appearance came in 2023, where he finished third overall before being eliminated by Rhodes. With that said, the Rumble could be another launching pad for Paul if the WWE books him strongly. That’s a big “if” considering how many stars are in this match.
Jacob Fatu (+1800): Jacob Fatu is making his Royal Rumble debut and is poised for a strong showing. The enforce for The New Bloodline is super talented inside the ring and could see a Lesnar like booking for this weekend’s event.
Cody Rhodes (+2200): Cody Rhodes is facing Kevin Owens in a ladder match for the undisputed championship. So, I doubt he will appear in this match. Additionally, Rhodes has won the last two RR matches and only Steve Austin has won three Royal Rumbles. You can forget Rhodes reaching that mark this year.
Gunther (+2200): Gunther has appeared in the last two Royal Rumbles, which are the only two appearances of his career. He finished 2nd in 2023 and 3rd in 2024. Both times Gunther was eliminated by Cody Rhodes. It’s more than likely that Gunther will compete in this match on Saturday night, but since he already holds a world title, I don’t see The Ring General winning this RR match.
Drew McIntyre (+3500): Drew McIntyre has been hell-bent on getting revenge against The Bloodline and is working his way up towards Roman Reigns. Ironically, in his eight appearances at the RR, McIntyre’s only win came in 2020, when he eliminated Reigns last. Last year, he was eliminated by CM Punk which led to one of the best feuds of 2024 in all of pro wrestling.
Bron Breakker (+4000): Bron Breakker is a legitimate threat to win the RR this weekend despite being considered a longshot with these odds. He made his RR debut last year and was eliminated by Dominik Mysterio. Like Jacob Fatu, I expect Breakker to have a monster performance this year. Before Lesnar left, he was rumored to be scheduled for a feud with Breakker. So, I see Bron getting pushed higher this year, which includes a strong showing this weekend.
Who Wins The Men’s Royal Rumble Match?
This match is loaded with stars and potential winners. I’m a bit surprised that Seth Rollins is the odds-on favorite to win. I also find it painful to think that John Cena could win, according to the sportsbooks. I don’t see any reason for Cena needing to win this match. He can walk into WrestleMania on his legacy alone.
There are three wild cards for this RR match: Fatu, Breakker and McIntyre. The two latter wrestlers have longshot odds. Fatu’s odds are smaller, but still offer plenty of value.
Fatu or Breakker could really benefit from strong showings at the Rumble and I expect that to happen. This will elevate both up the proverbial ladder. Unfortunately, I don’t see the WWE being brave enough to give either the victory this year. 2026 will be the year that one of those two win the RR match.
McIntyre is also poised for a strong showing even if it’s just to eliminate major names like Roman Reigns. If The Rock doesn’t show up then I think McIntyre will be the one to eliminate Reigns as I don’t see The Tribal Chief winning this year.
Honestly, I’ve been leaning towards CM Punk winning the Royal Rumble since last fall. He’s never won a Royal Rumble match and he’s too much of an all-time star in the company not to win this match. Plus, Punk vs. Rhodes at WM 41 would be a very compelling match.
Whatever the WWE decides to do this weekend, please don’t have Cena win.
Bet: CM Punk (-150)
Men’s Royal Rumble Match Prop Bets
The following Men’s Royal Rumble prop bets are courtesy of BetUS:
Men’s Winner Entry Number
- Over 17.5 Entry Number (-190)
- Under 17.5 Entry Number (+140)
In the previous 37 Royal Rumble matches, 14 wins have come from the following numbers: 1, 2, 3, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30.
If we’re just playing the odds, then Over 17.5 entry number seems like best option for this Royal Rumble prop bet.
Two of the last three Royal Rumbles have seen an entry over 17.5 win the match. Prior to that, there were four consecutive winners that entered at 17th or lower. So, I think we get at least one more year of a winner entering 18th or higher.
Bet: Over 17.5 Entry Number (-190)
Men’s Winner Number
- Odd (-115)
- Even (-125)
Five of the last seven Royal Rumble matches have seen the winner enter with an even number. With that said, this prop bet is like a coin flip. Despite that trend, you can see a close balance in even vs. odds entry numbers winning this match.
Since the Odd option has better value, I’m taking it to win.
Bet: Odd (-115)
Who Eliminates Roman Reigns?
- CM Punk (Even)
- Drew McIntyre (+150)
- Seth Rollins (+175)
- John Cena (+300)
- Jacob Fatu (+700)
- Jey Uso (+900)
- Solo Sikoa (+1000)
- LA Knight (+1200)
- Rey Mysterio (+1600)
To me, there are four legitimate options in Punk, McIntyre, Rollins and Fatu. Personally, I would love to see The Rock show up and either compete to eliminate Reigns or somehow distract him to be eliminated by Fatu or Sikoa.
With that said, I think McIntyre makes the most sense right now. He’s been on a missing to get revenge on The Bloodline and that includes Reigns. In fact, he’s been teasing Reigns on social media as of late. Furthermore, he’s already attacked other members of The Bloodline and those loosely affiliated like Sami Zayn.
Rollins getting revenge on his old teammate would be interesting as well. So would Fatu, who I hope actually gets the elimination. When it comes to betting on this one, I’m taking McIntyre.
Bet: Drew McIntyre (+150)
Wrestler With Most Eliminations
- Jacob Fatu (+110)
- Bron Breakker (+110)
- Drew McIntyre (+300)
As of this writing, these are the only three wrestlers who are listed for this specific prop bet. Even if we had a long list of betting options, I would still come back to Breakker and Fatu as you can see from my analysis above.
This really is hard to decide which one gets the most eliminations. Both men deserve a strong performance at the Rumble. Typically, the strongest performance is the man who has the most eliminations or the man who wins it.
Neither Breakker or Fatu will win, but one of them will get the most eliminations. My bias is towards Fatu to get it, but it seems that Triple H is building up Breakker more and more. So, unless the two tie, I think Trips gives it to Breakker.
Bet: Bron Breakker (+110)
The Most Total Eliminations
- Over 7.5 eliminations (-140)
- Under 7.5 eliminations (+100)
The men’s record for the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble match are 13 by Strowman and Lesnar. Reigns is second with 12 and Kane finished third with 11.
The average number of eliminations in a Royal Rumble match is 6.5 eliminations. So, we’re very close to the Over/Under for this prop bet. With that said, I think Fatu or Breakker will end up with 8 eliminations as they’re booked to look like a monster in this match.
Bet: Over 7.5 eliminations (-140)
Anyone Eliminated In Under 10 Seconds
- Yes (-200)
- No (+150)
To this very day, Santino Marella still holds the record for the shortest time in a Royal Rumble match at 1.9 seconds in 2009. Last year, JD McDonagh was eliminated in five seconds. Just like with the women’s Royal Rumble prop bet above, and despite my objections, I see the WWE having a male wrestler eliminated in under 10 seconds this weekend.
Bet: Yes (-200)
Who Will Eliminate John Cena?
- CM Punk (+125)
- Seth Rollins (+250)
- Roman Reigns (+300)
- Drew McIntyre (+400)
- Logan Paul (+500)
This a tough prop bet to decide. Because the WWE could go one of two ways: have someone eliminate Cena to set up a feud or have the person eliminate Cena to win the match.
Of the men listed in the options, I think Logan Paul could benefit the most from eliminating Cena. It would definitely increase his value and standing with the company.
With that said, I’m leaning towards CM Punk to eliminate Cena near the end of the match, and then for Punk to go on to win it all.
Bet: CM Punk (+125)
