Despite losing some momentum after a rare home defeat to Texas Tech, Houston has bounced back with two straight wins, though neither came easy.

The Cougars survived Oklahoma State and Colorado, mainly by doing what they do best—crashing the boards and creating extra possessions. Against Colorado, Houston:
