Betting on totals is hard in Major League Baseball. If you had problems in the first weekend with totals, you come to the right place.
Totals are hard to bet because it all depends on the offenses. Bats can go cold in one day for MLB juggernauts. It takes a different strategy compared to betting on the NBA.
There are tons of great games to win money on totals today. Here are my best over/under predictions for Monday, April 11th.
Pirates vs. Cardinals Over 8.5 Runs
The Cardinals’ total seems juicy in game four of this series. The total between Pittsburgh and St. Louis is set at 8.5 runs.
There have been a lot of runs scored in this series. These runs have been manufactured off better pitchers than we will see today.
The series has gone over 8.5 runs twice in three games thus far. Additionally, the one game that went under, there were eight runs scored. Offense has been plentiful thanks to Nolan Arenado for the Cardinals.
He has a slash line of .500/.538/1.250, which is tremendous. He also has two homers and seven RBIs. If Arenado does this once again, this game is going way over the total.
Brewers vs. Orioles Under 9 Runs
The Brewers and Orioles total seems like a gift on Monday. The total is set at nine, which is relatively high for these two offenses. Baltimore had opportunities against Tampa Bay, but they only scored four runs.
The Brewers only scored nine runs in the first series. These two totals combined for 13, divided by three games, it averages 4.3 runs per game. I am hammering the under in this contest.
Rockies vs. Rangers Under 10 Runs
The Rockies took two games from the Dodgers to start the year. However, this team is completely different on the road.
They will travel to Texas for their second series of the year. The total in this matchup is set at ten runs.
The under looks tremendous in this game. I do not see the Rockies hitting much on the road. They did score 15 at Coors in three games.
However, this is a different club on the road. The Rangers can score a lot of runs, but they can afford to if Colorado is limited.
Red Sox vs. Tigers Under 9.5 Runs
The Red Sox and Tigers’ offenses have not gotten started yet in 2022. Boston looked like they would hit the over the past two days but got cold. The Tigers are a team that does not score a lot of runs, and their lineup is not potent.
These teams combined for 19 runs in their first series of the year. Boston is batting .186 on the year, and Detroit has a .185 average at the plate. Both teams have OBP numbers under .300. The numbers are saying to hammer the under in this contest.
Baseball season is in full effect, and totals are a great way to make money. Best of luck with your picks for Monday, April 11.
