The NBA Friday slate is loaded, and that means it’s time to win some money. There are 11 games on the schedule, so there are lots of opportunities to win money.
My favorite way to profit on the NBA is with player prop bets. Player props are great because they limit liability.
Here are my favorite player props for Friday, April 1, 2022.
Karl-Anthony Towns Over 0.5 Blocks
Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Picks
Karl-Anthony Towns’ block total could be one of my favorite plays of the day. It’s very hard to block shots, but Towns does a great job.
He is averaging over one block per game. Additionally, he has hit this total three times in his past five games.
In three games against Denver this season, he is averaging 0.7 blocks. There are plenty of big men for Towns to battle with the Nuggets.
This includes Nikola Jokic on the inside. Hopefully, this should lead to one block on the night and a cashed ticket.
Grant Williams Under 4.5 Rebounds
Rebounds are never an easy bet to hit because it all depends on where the ball falls. Occasionally players will have big nights, but I like to take the under most times. This is exactly what I will be doing for Grant Williams on Friday.
Williams averages 3.5 rebounds per game for the Celtics, and he needs 4.5 on Friday. Williams is a great role player for the Celtics, but rebounding is not his strength. He has only gone over this total twice in his past five games.
Devin Booker Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
Devin Booker is not a three-point machine, but he can shoot from behind the arc. Booker is shooting 41.3% from the three-point range this season which is impressive. His total is set at 2.5, so he will need three against the Grizzlies.
In his last game against the Grizzlies, he knocked down three shots from behind the line. I think he will have a similar night.
Phoenix will need to score points to match Memphis’ aggression. Obviously, the Suns have the advantage, but I expect Booker to still come up big.
Jalen Brunson Over 15.5 Points
Jalen Brunson is the definition of a boom or bust player. He has scored over 20+ twice in his past five games. However, it can be hard to find consistency in his play.
The one positive tonight is that Brunson tends to beat up on bad teams. The Mavericks are playing the Wizards, and Washington is not the best.
This should give Brunson a great opportunity to go over his total. He is averaging 17.2 PPG in his past ten. I think he does a similar number tonight.
Harrison Barnes Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
Harrison Barnes has been shooting the ball from deep a lot as of late. He is shooting 37.9% from three-point land, but he only needs two to drop tonight. In 14 games, he has hit two threes in seven games.
It’s a 50% chance, and when it comes to this prop, I would rather go over. The Kings are playing the Rockets, who give up a lot of points.
