Underdogs against the spread are still up for the season despite going just 5-9-1 ATS last week. Through 12 weeks, dogs are 98-79-2 ATS.
Where the numbers really stand out is for road underdogs. So far in 2021, road dogs are 101-76-2. Will that trend continue in Week 13?
Here are the top five NFL Week 13 ATS picks.
Giants vs. Dolphins Week 13 Spread
Giants vs. Dolphins Prediction
Somehow, the Miami Dolphins have won four straight games. They have another winnable game this Sunday against the Giants at home. Miami still has the hopes of a wildcard berth looming.
That said the bet here is on the Giants for a few reasons. First is head coach Joe Judge. The Giants are 9- 3 ATS under Judge when they are a road underdog. Then, there is quarterback Daniel Jones. He is 11-4 ATS as the starter in the same situation.
For the season, remember that road underdogs are 101-76-2 ATS. With the Giants defense improving – allowing 15.2 points per game since Week 7 – they can keep this one close.

Broncos vs. Chiefs Week 13 Spread
It’s well known that the Chiefs are not great at covering spreads. They enter this one as a 10-point favorite likely because of Denver QB Teddy Bridgewater’s questionable status.
Keep this in mind though. Denver is pretty good defensively. The Under is 9-2 in Broncos games this season as the Denver defense ranks third in points allowed per game.
Kansas City’s offense is a bit off this season so a double-digit win in this rivalry game doesn’t seem likely. Back the Broncos to cover as a road underdog.

WFT vs. Raiders Week 13 Spread
The Football Team recorded its third straight win last week beating Seattle. They just happened to be a 1.5-point road underdog in that game. This week, Washington heads to Las Vegas as a 2.5-point dog.
The Raiders defense is 25th in the league against the run, which is a strong point for the Football Team offense with Antonio Gibson improving. He had 111 yards on 29 carries against Seattle. As a result of the Raiders run defense, they are 30th in the NFL in scoring defense.
The Football Team has one more week of magic left in it and covers as the road underdog.
Best ATS Pick: WASHINGTON +2.5
Vikings vs. Lions Week 13 Spread
The winless Lions put up a good fight against Minnesota in the first meeting this season. Detroit lost on a last-second field goal. In fact, the last two Vikings-Lions games have been the close. The second game last year was won by Minnesota 37-35.
If you go back a little further in the series, you see what is likely to happen this Sunday. The Vikings have won eight straight against the Lions by a double-figure margin.
The Vikings offense has picked it up over the last month scoring at least 26 points in each of its last four games. The Lions rank near the bottom of the league in run defense (29th) and scoring defense (26th. The Vikes can cover a touchdown against a bad football team.

49ers vs. Seahawks Week 13 Spread
The 49ers are getting healthier by the minute. That’s why they have won four of their last five. Seattle continues to dig a deeper hole.
The Seahawks lost on Monday night to Washington giving them six losses in their last seven games. Seattle hasn’t covered in three straight and the Niners are 4-1 ATS in their last five. They keep it rolling.
