“We’ve got the longest collegiate sport. We started October 1 and we’re in our sixth month. And for the guys to stay together, it shows a lot of character. A lot of teams fold. A lot of teams give into it. I’m glad this group didn’t.” – Oregon coach Dana Altman
The Ducks’ best win during their streak was a 77-73 overtime victory at then-No. 11 Wisconsin on Feb. 22. Oregon has relied on balanced scoring and perimeter defense, holding opponents to just 31.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
“We’re all going out there playing for each other. Forget what happened in the past, let’s move forward. I think the connectivity and the brotherhood we have right now is at an all-time high.” – Oregon guard TJ Bamba
Four players average in double figures for Oregon, led by Bittle (14.1 PPG, 7.3 RPG). Jackson Shelstad (13.3 PPG), Bamba (10.2 PPG), and Keeshawn Barthelemy (10.2 PPG) provide additional offensive depth.
Indiana Aiming for NCAA Tournament Bid
Indiana (19-12) is also peaking at the right time, winning five of its last seven games, including victories over Big Ten regular-season champion Michigan State and Purdue. Reneau (13.1 PPG), Mackenzie Mgbako (12.2 PPG), and Myles Rice (10.4 PPG) provide additional scoring, but Indiana has struggled from three-point range, hitting just 32.3 percent of its attempts (ranked 276th in Division I).
