Knicks Aim for Revenge on Visit to Stephen Curry, Warriors
Fresh off his 37th birthday celebration, Stephen Curry leads the surging Golden State Warriors (38-28) against the visiting New York Knicks (42-23) on Saturday night in San Francisco. The Knicks will be looking to avenge a 114-102 home loss to the Warriors on March 4 while closing out a five-game road trip.
Warriors Rolling Behind Curry, Kuminga, and Butler
Golden State continued its red-hot form with a 130-104 win over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. Curry had an uncharacteristically quiet night with 11 points, but he dished out five assists and watched seven teammates score in double figures.

One of those teammates was Jonathan Kuminga, who returned from a 31-game injury absence to post 18 points in 20 minutes. His explosiveness gives the Warriors another weapon alongside Jimmy Butler, who has helped Golden State go 13-2 since his acquisition from Miami.
“If you have a guy like JK who can attack and score at the rim, it’s a huge help,” coach Steve Kerr said.
The Warriors are currently riding a six-game winning streak and have won their first three games of an eight-game homestand by a combined 41 points.
Knicks Adjusting Without Brunson
The Knicks have split four games since losing to Golden State, picking up wins over the Kings and Trail Blazers while dropping games to both Los Angeles teams.
They’ve been without Jalen Brunson, who sprained his right ankle shortly after the Warriors loss. But Karl-Anthony Towns has stepped up, averaging 23.5 points over the last two games, including 26 points against Sacramento and 21 against Portland.

New York has seen balanced scoring in those victories, with all five starters reaching double figures. Miles McBride has impressed in just his third and fourth starts of the season, scoring 21 and 11 points while contributing defensively with four steals and two blocks against the Trail Blazers.
“It’s good when you could go out there and show a great version of (our)selves,” Towns said. “(We) just continue to put the building blocks together.”
