The NBA presents a fantastic lineup for tonight. If you want it all, you got it all with some defense in the mix, a host of wild offenses that will see running and gunning, shooting the lights out, and a couple of teams being run out of their gym. The NBA is experiencing quite a lot of parity, however, there are more than a few teams who have staked their claim as the ones to beat.
The Warriors and Suns are very clearly the best two teams in the NBA, The Bucks are good, but don’t look as dominating as when there were no fans in the stands. The 76ers have picked it up, the Pacers are struggling to find consistency, while the Mavericks and Nuggets are the same old Mavericks and Nuggets. Warriors vs. Pacers Prediction
Steph Curry is averaging 27.1 points per game and he looks like the Tom Brady of the NBA, he never ages. Not only does he not age, but he also gets better with age. We like Steph, but we are not biased to Steph, nor we are we biased to the Warriors. When the Warriors were winning their championships, they were the best team the world had ever seen beyond some of the Bulls great years. We now know what an impact Kevin Durant had with this team, how he made them better, and how they could hardly function without him.
They have finally moved on and have reinvented themselves. In our minds, they are officially back. Other than the Suns, no other team Is playing on the Warriors level. Tonight, they face a streaking Pacers that are going for their 4 th consecutive home win. While it’s noted the Pacers are playing better as of late and a three-game winning streak is nice, it’s not enough tonight. The streak ends tonight.

The Celtics and the Bucks seem to be traveling in drastically different directions when you look at division leaders. Then you take a second look and focus on what separates them… It’s 5- wins. Are the Bucks better than everybody else? We don’t think so. We will take this a step further and say they didn’t get lucky, (we don’t believe in luck in an NBA playoff series), they didn’t get lucky, but and a really big but… they also played in a very weird environment for any professional sports. The last couple of seasons have been atypical and everyone knows it.
Now that the environment is back to “normal” we see the Bucks being back to normal – they can be beaten. They are playing well and consistently. We are not taking anything away from them, we are simply making the case that they indeed are human. The Celtics come in struggling with three straight losses out west, a win in Portland, but a loss in Utah on the 3 rd . They have lost 4 of the last 5, on the road, all in the Western Conference. The Celtics need to get healthy, once they can get 100%, they can find some consistency. We like them tonight.

Best NBA Over/Under Pick for December 13th
Houston has injuries going on with Green, House Jr., and Porter Jr. all being out for this contest. It’s no secret the Rockets are not a bit good with everyone on the floor, forget about when half the team is out! They are what they are – and that means they are in the middle of a rebuild. This team may never be back, if they do regain some of their former glory, they will need to mix it up and commit to spending some money, a lot of money – they have been unwilling to do so in the recent past.
We must give the Rockets credit for winning three of the last five games while scoring 114 against Brooklyn, 118 against New Orleans, and 118 against Orlando. The Hawks are another team much like the Celtics – looking for something to stick to. They have lost three of the last five games while scoring 105, 127, and 96 in the losses, and 114, against Indiana in a win, and 121 against Minnesota in a win.

Wizards vs. Nuggets Prediction / Suns vs. Clippers Prediction
The Denver Nuggets are better than what their record indicates, however, they have suffered early with a plethora of injuries. They have won three of the last five, but against teams with losing records. The Wizards have lost four of the last five and frankly, they look miserable. They did find a win last week against Detroit in OT, 119-116. Beyond the win in Detroit, they lost to Indiana 110-116, Toronto 90-102, Cleveland 101-116, and this past Saturday in Utah 98-123.
With the Nuggets coming off the road while going 3-2, and the Wizards going back on the road for their fifth straight – they get blown out. For game #2 of the parlay, EASY – Suns -3 over the Clippers. As the Suns keep winning, Vegas loses confidence. They are betting on the Suns to show their human side and lose a couple. Our money is on the Suns.

We like the Mavericks/Hornets game for more than a few great props, however, the one we are willing to open our wallet for would be the second half to score more points than the 1 st half. The Mavericks could very well find themselves in a dogfight, and will most likely need to come back more than a couple of times in this game. For this reason, we like the second half to be the highest-scoring half.
