Thursday Night Football is a critical matchup this week. The 49ers will travel to Tennessee to battle the Titans. Both teams are looking to solidify a playoff position.

However, it can be very rough to bet on teams on Thursday night. Anything can happen coming off a short week. This is why it’s best to bet on reliable players.

Here are my top five player props for Thursday Night Football. You can also read our 49ers vs. Titans preview.

George Kittle Over 69.5 Receiving Yards

The 49ers run game has been a big reason for the team’s success. Yet, the one player that has continually delivered in the past few weeks is George Kittle. Kittle is turning into a tight end that is impossible to cover.

I equate receiving yards to targets. In the past three games, Kittle has been targeted 33 times. He has also exceeded this receiving total in his past three contests. The Titans are allowing 261.2 passing yards per game.

NFL Betting Lines

George Kittle Anytime Touchdown

Considering how bad the Titans are against the pass, Kittle will catch a touchdown. When the team gets around the goal line, Kittle is the player that receives the targets.

Kittle has three touchdowns in his past three games. If the 49ers can work the ball down the field, Kittle will find the endzone. He has six scores in 2021.

Jimmy Garoppolo Over 36.5 Yards Longest Completion

Jimmy Garoppolo is playing with a chip on his shoulder. He has something to prove with Trey Lance waiting in the wings. Garoppolo will likely be a backup or a starter with another team in 2022.

Garoppolo is tenth in QBR and has been a great game manager this season. The Titans do not defend the pass, so the quarterback will have chances down the field. He has exceeded this pass length in two of his past five.

However, he has been around this total in four of his past five. I think Garoppolo will take a shot down the field at some point to Kittle for a big gain.

NFL Predictions

D’onta Foreman Anytime Touchdown

The Titans are going to be competitive in this game. I believe they will cover their +3.5 spread. Since Derrick Henry got hurt, D’onta Foreman has stepped up big.

In his past three games, he has 44 carries and one touchdown. The Titans have been successful in running the football. Foreman is averaging 4.5 yards per carry and has great explosion.

This is a recipe for him to score a touchdown. With the injured receivers in Tennessee, Foreman should have a huge night.

Brandon Aiyuk Over 47.5 Receiving Yards

Brandon Aiyuk is the primary receiver in San Francisco behind George Kittle. If Garoppolo is going to have a big day, Aiyuk must play well.

Kittle and Aiyuk will need to deliver on Thursday night. His receiving total is set at 47.5 yards. He has exceeded this total four times in his past five games.

He did not receive a lot of targets against the Falcons last week. However, this should not be the game plan against the Titans, who cannot defend the pass.
