Last week, we correctly picked two of our three moneyline underdogs. Pittsburgh and Houston came through and Seattle put up quite a fight against the Rams on a Tuesday night but ultimately fell short.
The Detroit Lions pulled off the biggest upset of the week completely destroying the former No. 1 seed in the NFC, Arizona. The Lions beat the Cardinals 30-12 on Sunday.
Who will it be this week? Here are the top three NFL Week 16 moneyline underdog picks.
Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots
Bills vs. Patriots Predictions
Buffalo and New England are very comparable. Both teams are solid defensively. The Patriots lead the NFL in scoring defense allowing 16.2 points per game. The Bills are second at 17.4.
The two teams played just a few weeks ago in Buffalo and the Patriots came away with a 14-10 victory. Buffalo is looking to return the favor this time around. Where the Bills may have the edge is at quarterback.
New England has rookie Mac Jones who has done well for a first-year NFL quarterback. The Bills have a proven veteran in Josh Allen who is in a spot where he is undervalued.
Allen has been very good on the road during his career. He sports a 17-8-2 ATS record in road games. Allen has also been solid as an underdog. In those games, he is 15-7-2 ATS. When we combine the two, we find that Allen is 9-3-2 ATS as a road underdog.
On average, Allen’s Bills have outperformed the spread by +6.3 points as a road underdog. Buffalo returns the favor this week and pulls the upset.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Ravens vs. Bengals Predictions
The Ravens have lost three straight games by a combined four points. Last week, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh elected to go for two with 42 seconds to play instead of kicking and possibly going to overtime.
Last week’s loss pushed the Ravens right out of the playoff picture. With three straight defeats, the Bengals now control the AFC North and Baltimore is No. 8 in the AFC – on the outside looking in.
Cincy won the first game this season, but Baltimore won the previous five straight. Lamar Jackson will be back for this game and the Ravens are due for a big win…which is typically what happens when these two teams meet.
Best Moneyline Pick: RAVENS +120
Los Angeles Rams vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have won two straight and are still very much alive in the NFC playoff race. The Rams rebounded from three straight losses in November with three straight wins in December.
Minnesota is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and the Rams are 0-5-1 ATS in their last six against the Vikings. The Under is 4-2 in the Rams last six games. With Robert Woods out of the lineup, the Rams lose a playmaker.
The Vikings are 4-2 in their last six games and 4-2 at home this season. They get a big win this Sunday.
