One thing we have been able to count on when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles is that they are going to be able to run the ball. Over the last seven games they have averaged 214 yards on the ground. Their offensive line ranks third in the NFL in the metric of “Adjusted Line Yards” and they get their running plays “stuffed” less frequently than any other team.
And for our TD scorer, we would like to honor a representative of that running game who fetches a decent price. Who’s that going to be?
Jordan Howard Prop Picks for Week 16
Time: Sunday, December 26 @ 1 PM ET
TD Scoring Odds: +215 to score “Anytime” Touchdown
We wish we could submit the name of Miles Sanders, who is the team’s second-leading rusher. But there seems to be some conspiracy to keep him out of the end zone, because he has not scored a touchdown all season.
Howard, who was a Pro Bowl performer with the Chicago Bears, has a 5.2-yard average. He hasn’t played a whole lot, as he came off the practice squad and has also been injured. He doesn’t have any receptions, so he’s not going to score that way. But he’s had three rushing TD’s in five games.
Antonio Brown Prop Picks for Week 16
Time: Sunday, December 26 @ 1 PM ET
TD Scoring Odds: +120 to score “Anytime” Touchdown
Brown gets to come back to action after sitting out a suspension related to his lying about the vaccine, etc., etc. Well, I don’t think Tom Brady cares whether he is vaccinated or not. With the season-ending injury to Chris Godwin and the uncertainty surrounding Mike Evans, the big touchdown-maker, not to mention depth at the wide receiver position that is questionable, Brown becomes a preferred target.
Brady would not have lobbied for a guy with his colorful background to join the Bucs unless he trusted him.So he’s not going to have any problem looking for him, regardless of the situation. Brown has made 29 receptions this season, four of them for touchdowns.
Brevin Jordan Prop Picks for Week 16
Time: Sunday, December 26 @ 1 PM ET
TD Scoring Odds: +330 to score “Anytime” Touchdown
We’ve called on Jordan before, with no success. But we just didn’t catch him in the right week. This could be the right week for us. Jordan has caught only 15 passes, but three of them (20%) have gone for touchdowns.
And if there is a team that would let him strut his stuff, it’s the Chargers, who have allowed 69% successful targets to tight ends, for 8.7 yards per target and 12 touchdowns. It’s neck-and-neck between the Bolts and the Eagles as to who is the NFL’s worst at defending the tight end position.
Justin Jefferson Prop Picks for Week 16
Time: Sunday, December 26 @ 1 PM ET
TD Scoring Odds: +130 to score “Anytime” Touchdown
Maybe the Rams aren’t going to be the easiest team in the world for him to score against, but if he doesn’t draw Jalen Ramsey, who knows. What we can tell you is that Jefferson is no worse than the fourth or fifth best wide receiver in this league, with 1335 yards and nine TD’s as of now. He has scored in five of his last seven games.
Olamide Zaccheaus Prop Picks for Week 16
Time: Sunday, December 26 @ 1 PM ET
TD Scoring Odds: +300 to score “Anytime” Touchdown
Even though the Lions were able to rise up and slap Arizona down last week, it doesn’t disguise the fact that they are still thin in the secondary, which can sometimes open the door for second and third options at wide receiver.
We would perhaps like Kyle Pitts, the tight end, in a situation like this, but he has drawn a lot of attention from opponents this season and has only one touchdown. On the season, Zaccheaus has 24 receptions, three of which have gone for a score.
