Ravens vs. Buccaneers Player Props Picks for TNF Week 8

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) host the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) on Thursday Night Football.

NFL Betting Sites

This is an important match-up for both teams. The Bucs and Ravens are leading their respective divisions up to this point, but that could change for whichever team loses on Thursday night.

Here are the top five Ravens vs. Buccaneers player props predictions for week 8:

Tom Brady Over 281.5 Passing Yards (-115)

The Bucs offense has been struggling, but Brady has been improving. Brady has thrown for 290+ yards in three of the team’s last four games. Now he gets to go against the Ravens defense.

Baltimore allow 261.3 PYPG (26th). This is a great opportunity for Brady to have success. He could also be getting back Julio Jones, which will give him one more quality WR to target on Thursday night.

NFL Betting Lines

Mike Evans Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Evans is banged up, but he’s expected to be ready to start tomorrow night. Evans leads the Buccaneers in receiving yards (454). He has 69+ receiving yards in four of six games this season.

Brady has been targeting Evans a ton lately. Last week, Evans had 9 receptions (15 targets) for 96 yards despite the Bucs getting blown out. This is a great opportunity for Evans to have 100+ receiving yards.

Lamar Jackson Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Jackson is the Ravens leading rusher with 510 yards. J.K. Dobbins is on the IR and the RB situation isn’t great in Baltimore. However, Jackson has had 63+ rushing yards in four of six games this season.

The Buccaneers are allowing 118.3 RYPG (17th). Jackson has had 10+ rushing attempts in four of the last five games. If he gets 10+ carries, he’s going to exceed this rushing total on TNF.

NFL Predictions

Chris Godwin Under 6.5 Receptions (+105)

Godwin has had a rough season. He has had only 7 receptions twice this season. With Jones likely back this week, Godwin will see his target share drop and he’ll struggle to get 7+ receptions in week 8.

So far this season, Godwin only has 29 receptions for 293 yards. He still hasn’t scored a touchdown. I also expect the Bucs to try and establish the run a bit, which will hurt Godwin’s production.

Vita Vea Over 0.75 Sacks (+175)

Vea leads the Buccaneers with 3.5 sacks. He has had 1 sack in three games this season. Jackson has been sacked 14 times this season. He’s going to get sacked at least a couple times in this game.

The Bucs have 22 sacks this season. Vea will be putting pressure on the Ravens up the middle and on plays when Jackson can’t get out of the pocket, Vea will have a great shot at getting a sack.
