We’re going to identify the best player props picks for NFL week 8.
There are 13 games scheduled for Sunday, so there are plenty of player props markets to bet on. I went 4-1 on player props picks in the Ravens vs. Buccaneers TNF match-up.
I’m now on a 11-4 run on my last 15 NFL player props predictions.
Here are the top five NFL player props for Sunday:
Jalen Hurts Over 230.5 Passing Yards (-125)
The Eagles (6-0) are coming off a bye week and now host the Steelers (2-5). The Steelers have been terrible against the pass this season. They rank #29 in passing yards allowed (275.4 PYPG).
Hurts hasn’t been throwing for a ton of yards most games, but he has thrown for 231+ passing yards in four of six games. He should easily cash this prop at home against the Steelers secondary.
Matthew Stafford Over 0.5 Interceptions (-145)
Stafford is having a rough season for the Rams (3-3). Stafford has thrown more interceptions (8) than touchdowns (6). The 49ers (3-4) defense averages 0.9 interceptions per game (13th).
Stafford has thrown an interception in five of six games this season. Only Matt Ryan has thrown more INTs than Stafford and he’s benched this week. Look for Stafford to continue struggling.
Derrick Henry Over 99.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
The Titans (4-2) need to establish the run against the Texans (1-4-1). Houston allow 164.7 RYPG (32nd) and that’s not good news, as they have a match-up against Henry on Sunday.
Henry struggled to begin the season, but he has turned things around in October. The Titans have played three games this month and Henry has rushed for 100+ yards in every game.
Kenneth Walker III Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
The Giants (6-1) and Seahawks (4-3) will both run the football a lot this week. Walker III has taken over as the #1 RB in Seattle. He has had 21 carries and 23 carries in the Seahawks last two games.
Walker III has rushed for 88+ yards in three consecutive games. He’s coming off a huge game where he rushed for 167 yards. The Giants are allowing 144.4 RYPG (28th) this season.
It won’t be long before the odds on Walker III rushing props will jump higher.
Rhamondre Stevenson Over 2.5 Receptions (-170)
Stevenson will continue to be a big part of the Patriots (3-4) offensive game plan. Stevenson has hauled in 4+ receptions in four of the Patriots last five games. He had 8 receptions last week.
Damien Harris was back last week, but he only had 3 carries and 2 targets. The Jets (5-2) have a strong defense that only allows 209.4 PYPG (13th), so Mac Jones will need to dump off passes to his RB.
