The Bears have figured out how to score points. Chicago has scored 29 or more points in the last three games. What the Bears haven’t figured out is how to slow down their opponents. Chicago has allowed 24 points per game so far this season.
The Lions have similarly struggled to slow down their opponents and make for an intriguing dance partner for Chicago. Detroit finally broke through and won an ugly game against Green Bay last week. The Lions will surprise people by winning their second straight.
Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans

The Broncos have had a difficult season. Denver hasn’t been able to find a way to score with Russell Wilson under center, only averaging 15.8 points per game. However, before the bye week, the Broncos were able to escape with a win over Jacksonville.
The Titans are hoping veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill can return. Rookie quarterback Malik Willis has had a hard time keeping up with the speed of the NFL. If the Titans get Tannehill back, they should be able to cover the spread.
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

The Cardinals may be ready for a leadership change. Arizona has regressed this season under Kliff Kingsbury, who many thought was on the hot seat before the NFL season started. The Cardinals defense has been torched this season, conceding 26.8 points per game.
Los Angeles has never looked like it found a way to get over a Super Bowl hangover from last season. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and the offensive line have struggled, especially in the second half of games. Los Angeles lost a winnable game late to Tampa Bay last week, but should bounce back.
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers

Best Bet: Cowboys -5
The Packers offense has been poor all season. Green Bay is 3-6 against the spread and has lost five straight overall. The Packers may be catching the Cowboys at the wrong time.
Dallas looked good in Dak Prescott’s return and is hoping to keep pace with Philadelphia in the NFC East race. The Cowboys scoring output will be too much for the Packers.
Houston Texans at New York Giants

Best Bet: Giants -6.5
The Texans are a team that is clearly rebuilding and have more questions than answers. Houston is 1-6-1 and just hoping to find a path forward once it likely seals up the No. 1 pick. The Giants have been one of the NFL’s biggest surprises, hopping out to a 6-2 record overall and against the spread.
The Texans have the worst rushing defense in the league, which won’t be a great match-up against a team that is determined to run the football with Saquon Barkley.
