The 2022 college football season has been wildly unpredictable and things should continue to trend in that direction in the final few weeks. Betting on college football remains a good option, but sometimes you need some extra points when betting against the spread.
It’s common to see a six or ten-point teaser bet offered and that’s where you should be looking. Here are three of the best bets to make when looking at each of the two biggest types of teaser bets.

Purdue vs. Illinois Predictions
Best Bet: Illinois Fighting Illini -6.5 to -0.5
The Big Ten West Division title is on the line on Saturday, as Illinois hosts Purdue in a huge game. Both of these teams suffered a bad loss last weekend and it should set up for a big showdown in this game.
This game should come down to the final possession and Illinois has a defense to get the needed stops. Move the line by six points, though and simply bet on the Fighting Illini to win.
Best Bet: LSU Tigers -3.0 to +3.0
LSU comes into week 11 fresh off of a huge win over Alabama and they now hit the road. Arkansas is a team that can cause some problems, especially if LSU isn’t focused after that huge win.
The Tigers should win this game, but getting them at +3.0 is the best way to bet on this one, as the Razorbacks will keep it close.
Wisconsin vs. Iowa Predictions
Best Bet: Iowa Hawkeyes +1.0 to +7.0
It has been a strange season for both Wisconsin and Iowa. Each team will try to finish the season strong. There is not much separation at all between the teams and it’s going to come down to the final possession.
Playing at home gives the Hawkeyes a huge boost and moving the line to +7.0 is a great bet to make.

Oklahoma vs. West Virginia Predictions
Best Bet: Oklahoma Sooners -8.0 to +2.0
Oklahoma and West Virginia have both struggled to win games this year, but the offense hasn’t been a challenge. These two teams are going to light up the scoreboard in this game and it’s going to go back and forth.
It’s just hard to trust Oklahoma at all and betting on them as a big favorite is a mistake. Take the ten extra points and get the Sooners at +2.0.
Alabama vs. Ole Miss Predictions
Best Bet: Alabama Crimson Tide -12.0 to -2.0
Alabama and Ole Miss both still have a shot at winning the SEC this season, but they are going to need some help. The Crimson Tide are a big road favorite in this game, but they have lost two of their last three.
Head coach Nick Saban will have his team ready to respond in this one, but it won’t be easy. Move the line to -2.0 and bet on Alabama to pick up a road win.
Washington vs. Oregon Predictions
Best Bet: Oregon Ducks -13.5 to -3.5
The Oregon Ducks are now the favorites to win the Pac-12 Conference, but they have a tough match-up at home on Saturday. Washington is trending in the right direction as well and the Huskies have a defense that can do some damage.
Oregon is going to win this game, but getting them at -3.5 is the best bet to make.
