College Football Week 12 Point Spread Picks

The chase is on for spots in the College Football Playoff and for which teams are going to play in the conference championship games. Someone has to represent the Big Ten West in Indianapolis, unfortunately.

All of that will make for exciting betting opportunities. Here’s a look at the best point spread picks for college football week 12 betting action.

TCU Horned Frogs at Baylor Bears

TCU vs. Baylor Picks

Best Bet: TCU -3

The Horned Frogs showed last week that they have the mettle to sustain the pressure of pursuing an undefeated season. TCU won an ugly defensive game against Texas last week to maintain its perfect record.

The Horned Frogs, who are 8-1-1 against the spread, will now have to go on the road to defending Big 12 champion Baylor to keep the momentum going.

The Bears got blasted by Kansas State last week, but have a number of playmakers on defense. Baylor has forced 11 takeaways this season, which ranks 29th nationally.

The Bears just haven’t been able to break through against top teams. That won’t stop here, as TCU will move to 11-0 with a touchdown win.

Washington State Cougars at Arizona Wildcats

Washington State vs. Arizona Picks

Best Bet: Arizona +4.5

The Wildcats pulled one of the nation’s biggest stunners last week, upsetting UCLA to shatter the Bruins’ dreams of reaching the College Football Playoff, which was already dim to start with.

Arizona, which is 6-4 against the spread despite having a losing record, has made major strides this season. The Wildcats have dragged USC and Washington into tussles that Arizona lost in the end.

Washington State has mostly hovered around .500 all season. On the road, the Cougars are just 2-2 this season. Arizona will keep this one close and possibly steal a win at home.

Texas Longhorns at Kansas Jayhawks

Texas vs. Kansas Picks

Best Bet: Kansas +9.5

This game would be a lot more fun if Kansas still had starting quarterback Jalen Daniels available. However, the Jayhawks haven’t been that fortunate, losing Daniels to an injury during a loss to TCU earlier in the season. Jason Bean has been a capable backup, but isn’t quite as polished.

It’s hard to know what to expect from Texas from week to week. The Longhorns offense is explosive and can put up points in bunches thanks to the efforts of Quinn Ewers and running back Bijon Robinson.

Texas, however, is also capable of being gashed defensively. Kansas will keep this close and the Longhorns will still win.

Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at Virginia Cavaliers

Coastal Carolina vs. Virginia Picks

Best Bet: Virginia -4.5

This is a game, if played a month ago, would have a much tighter line. Coastal Carolina has lost starting quarterback Grayson McCall for the season, which greatly limits the Chanticleers passing game. While Virginia has been a mess this season, the Cavaliers still have their starting quarterback at their disposal.

Virginia will bounce back from a loss to Pitt to win by a touchdown.

NC State Wolfpack at Louisville Cardinals

NC State vs. Louisville Picks

Best Bet: Louisville -4.5

The Cardinals were manhandled by Clemson last week, but have found themselves after a slow start to the season. NC State has mostly been a disappointment after taking a few losses earlier in the season. The Cardinals will win by a touchdown.
