The NBA has a long-standing tradition of playing games on Christmas Day and the NFL is now trying to take that over. It will be a full weekend of NFL action and there are three games scheduled to take place on Christmas Day.
The playoff races are heating up throughout the league and several teams are facing a must-win situation on Christmas. Here is a look at five of the best NFL player prop betting options on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers Over 247.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are in Miami and they simply can’t afford to lose the rest of the season. Rodgers got off to a slow start to the year, but he is starting to look like the MVP once again.
The Packers are facing an explosive Miami team and Green Bay is going to have to score points to keep up. Since that will be the case, bet on Aaron Rodgers to throw for over 247.5 passing yards in this one.
Tyreek Hill Over 89.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Tyreek Hill comes into week 16 with 1529 receiving yards and he has a chance at leading the league when the regular season ends. Hill has quickly become the favorite target of Tua Tagovailoa and this should be a good match-up.
The Packers are not great on defense and Hill is capable of taking one to the house every single time that he has the ball in his hands. Hill will have some big plays in this one to go over the 89.5 receiving yards.
Russell Wilson Under 221.5 Passing Yards (-115)
It’s hard to put into words just how bad Russell Wilson has been in his first season with the Broncos. Wilson is also trying to come back from suffering a concussion and it’s hard to see him doing a ton of damage on Sunday.
The Broncos are facing the Rams and they are a team that has struggled as well. Look for Denver to keep the ball on the ground in this game and taking the under 221.4 passing yards is the way to go.
Mike Evans Anytime TD Scorer (+145)
The final game on Christmas Day will feature Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Cardinals in Arizona. It has been a rough year for both of these teams, but Tampa Bay still has a chance to get to the postseason.
Evans has scored just three receiving touchdowns this season, but he remains a threat to score anytime he is on the field. Look for Tom Brady to find Evans in the red zone and he will score a touchdown at some point in this game.
Trace McSorley Under 186.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Buccaneers vs. Cardinals Predictions
The Arizona Cardinals have a mess at the quarterback position and the entire offense has struggled this season. Trace McSorley is going to get the start in this game and it’s hard to expect that he will do anything.
Even if the Cardinals get behind in this game, don’t expect McSorley to get many passing attempts. Take the under 186.5 passing yards for the young QB on Sunday.
