With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the best NCAAF prop picks for Saturday, December 31st.

Bryce Young Over 265.5 Passing Yards

Alabama vs. Kansas State Picks

Former Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young said playing in the Sugar Bowl was an easy decision, despite declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft. Young has had an up-and-down season due in part to injury issues. However, Young did show his Heisman form from a year ago down the stretch.

Young passed for more than 300 yards during an overtime loss to LSU and topped the mark in the Iron Bowl against Auburn. Kansas State allowed 216.9 yards per game against the pass in the regular season.

College Football Odds

Donovan Edwards Over 128.5 Rushing Yards

TCU vs. Michigan Picks

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh doesn’t need a dominant passing game to run a modern college football offense. The Wolverines are happy to line up with their big offensive line and cram the ball down your throat. Edwards will see a lion’s share of the carries against TCU thanks to injuries to Blake Corum.

The Wolverines have the seventh-best rushing attack in the country, piling up 243 yards per game. Edwards averages 7.5 yards per carry. He put up 185 yards against Purdue in the Big 10 title game and 216 against Ohio State in the regular season finale.

Max Duggan Under 238.5 Passing Yards

Duggan is capable of putting up big numbers passing, but isn’t always asked to carry the load. TCU has a solid running game that can help take the pressure off of his shoulders. Duggan has also shown that while he isn’t exactly Michael Vick, he is a capable scrambler.

Duggan will have a slow passing day, and Michigan will limit TCU’s possessions with its rushing attack.

College Football Predictions

C.J. Stroud Over 277.5 Passing Yards

Ohio State vs. Georgia Picks

Over the past month, Stroud, a Heisman finalist, has had to listen to people questioning how he can perform in the big game. Stroud, who is expected to be taken in the first round next year, has been criticized for not winning the Big Ten or beating Michigan. However, Stroud finished 18th nationally in passing with 3,340 yards this season.

Stroud also put up 349 yards vs. a strong Michigan game. Especially if the Buckeyes fall behind early, a motivated Stroud will want to keep Ohio State in the game.

Stetson Bennett Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes

Bennett likely won’t have a long pro career, but he has been a fantastic college player. Bennett has thrown two or more touchdown passes in six of Georgia’s last seven games. He was especially efficient in the SEC title game, completing 79.3 percent of his passes for four touchdowns against LSU.
