Now that we have reached week 5 of the college football season, there are conference games taking place throughout the country. That usually means more competitive games and it can also mean some better betting opportunities.
One way to get even better betting odds is to look at making teaser predictions. Here are two different types of teaser bets to make.
CFB 6-Point Teasers for Week 5
Illinois vs. Wisconsin Predictions
Best Bet: Illinois +7.0 to +13.0
Illinois and Wisconsin are set to meet up for a huge showdown in the Big Ten West Division. Illinois has been a big surprise this season, while Wisconsin always seems to be one of the best teams.
The Fighting Illini might not be able to pull off the upset over the Badgers, but it will be close. Take Illinois at +13.0 to cover the spread.
Oklahoma State vs. Baylor Predictions
Best Bet: Baylor -2.5 to +3.5
The Big 12 Conference is always extremely competitive, and that has already been the case to begin this year. Baylor is a slight underdog against Oklahoma State, but these games always tend to be close.
A spread of even 2.5 can be risky, but taking the Bears to cover +3.5 at home is a great bet to make.
Wake Forest vs. Florida State Predictions
Best Bet: Wake Forest +7.0 to +13.0
The Florida State Seminoles appear to be back, but they have a big game against Wake Forest on Saturday. Wake Forest just suffered a close loss to Clemson at home and they will be looking to bounce back.
The Demon Deacons are a great offensive team and they will keep the game with Florida State within 13 points if they are unable to pull off the upset.
CFB 10-Point Teasers for Week 5
Best Bet: Michigan -10.5 to -0.5
Michigan and Iowa are set for a rematch of the Big Ten Championship Game from a season ago. The Wolverines dominated that match-up, but Iowa will be looking for some revenge at home.
Michigan should have enough offense to win this game, but it’s best to tease the line by 10 points and get the Wolverines at -0.5.
Alabama vs. Arkansas Predictions
Best Bet: Alabama -17.0 to -7.0
The Alabama Crimson Tide are once again one of the best teams in college football and they are big favorites on the road in week 5. Arkansas just suffered a crushing loss to Texas A&M and they will look to bounce back in a hurry.
Teasing the line to -7.0 is a good bet to make as Alabama is going to win this game by a touchdown at least.
Oregon State vs. Utah Predictions
Best Bet: Utah -10.5 to -0.5
The Pac-12 Conference might not have a team capable of getting to the CFP this year, but there are still some great teams. Utah is one of those teams and they are big favorites against a solid Oregon State team.
Move this line to -0.5 for this match-up and back the Utes to pick up this game at home.
