Here are the best NFL Week 1 predictions:
NFL Week 1 Predictions – Against the Spread
Let’s jump into our top three NFL Week 1 point spread predictions:
Best Bet: Baltimore Ravens -9.5 (-110)
The Ravens host the Texans on Sunday. Lamar Jackson will battle rookie CJ Stroud for the win. Baltimore are the biggest favorite in Week 1, but this should be a blowout. Baltimore are expected to air it out more often this season. John Harbaugh is 11-4 ATS in Week 1 since joining the Ravens.
Best Bet: Washington Commanders -7 (-110)
Washington are at home against the Cardinals in Week 1. QB Kyler Murray is still injured and Arizona are the worst team in the league right now. The Commanders are going with Sam Howell at QB. He’ll have a nice arsenal of weapons and the Commanders should be able to run the football with ease.
Best Bet: Jacksonville Jaguars -4.5 (-114)
The Jaguars are on the road against the Colts in an early AFC South matchup. QB Trevor Lawrence will have an additional weapon in newly acquired WR Calvin Ridley. Anthony Richardson will have a tough time moving the football in his first career start, especially with RB Jonathan Taylor on the PUP list.

NFL Week 1 Predictions – Game Totals
Here are our top three NFL Week 1 over/under predictions:
Best Bet: Bengals vs. Browns Under 47.5 (-110)
This game total is too high for numerous reasons. First off, these two AFC North rivals are familiar with each other and the last three games have gone under the total. The Browns were strong against the pass last season (196.2 PYPG – 5th) and the Bengals run defense (103.5 RYPG – 5th) will limit Nick Chubb.
Best Bet: Buccaneers vs. Vikings Over 45.5 (-110)
Minnesota games often feature plenty of scoring. Last season, the Vikings had an O/U record of 12-6 and since 2021, Kirk Cousins has an O/U record of 22-12 in 34 starts. Baker Mayfield will look to improve the Bucs offense that ranked 25th in scoring (18.2 PPG). Minny allowed 266.9 PYPG (31st) last season.
Best Bet: Titans vs. Saints Over 41.5 (-110)
Carr has a chance for a huge game against the Titans pass defense (274.8 PYPG – 32nd). Alvin Kamara is suspended, so the Saints should air it out. Derrick Henry will find lots of running room against NO’s run defense (130.5 RYPG – 24th). This matchup should sail over the low game total.
These are the best NFL Week 1 point spread and game total predictions. With lots of unknowns, Week 1 is going to be a tough week, but we’re confident these six plays will return a profit for our readers.
