You can also bet on which player will hit the most home runs during the event. The HRs accumulate each round and at the end of the Derby, the player who hit the most home runs will win this market. Bookies will also offer betting odds on which player will hit the most home runs during the first round only.

Longest Home Run

Example: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+190)

There are a couple longest home run betting markets. You can bet on which player will hit the longest HR during the Derby or you can bet on how long the longest home run will be. An example of the second bet type would be Over 490.5 Feet (+120) vs. Under 490.5 Feet (-145).

Total Home Runs

Example: Over 276.5 HRs (-110) vs. Under 276.5 HRs (-110)

An exciting way to bet on the Home Run Derby is the total home runs market. You don’t need to pick any players, you just need to predict how many home runs will be hit during the event. You’ll also be able to bet on how many home runs will be hit in the first round only at most betting sites.

Home Run Derby Player Props

Example: Mookie Betts Over 22.5 HRs (+100) vs. Under 22.5 HRs (-125)

All of the Home Derby participants will have player props available. You can bet on whether a player will go over or under the posted total in home runs. Alternatively, MLB fans can also wager on whether a player will go over or under the posted total for longest home run.

Home Run Derby Matchup Bets

MLB betting sites will offer lots of Derby matchup bets. One example is betting on the winner of the first round matchups between hitters.
