We’re back with the best NFL Week 8 predictions. There are no byes this week. The Bills defeated the Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football, but they failed to cover the point spread.
There are 14 games on Sunday and one game on Monday Night Football.
There are no undefeated teams in the NFL, but the Chiefs and Eagles only have one loss. After opening the season on a 5-0 run, the 49ers have lost two consecutive games and need to bounce back.
NFL Week 8 Predictions – Against the Spread
Here are the top three NFL Week 8 predictions for the point spread betting market:
Best Bet: Baltimore Ravens -9.5 (-110)
The Ravens (5-2 / 5-2 ATS) just beat up the Lions (38-6) in Week 7. Now they head on the road to take on the Cardinals (1-6 / 3-4 ATS). The Ravens are only allowing 13.9 PPG (1st). The Cardinals have lost four consecutive games by double-digits. This is a big spread, but the Ravens are capable of covering.
Best Bet: Philadelphia Eagles -7 (-110)
The Eagles (6-1 / 4-2-1 ATS) just defeated the Dolphins by 14 points (31-17). The Commanders (3-4 / 3-4 ATS) lost to the Giants (14-7) in Week 7. These teams played in Week 4 and the Eagles needed overtime to win by a field goal. I expect the Eagles defense to play better and win this game by double-digits.
Best Bet: Minnesota Vikings -1.5 (-110)
The Vikings (3-4 / 3-3-1 ATS) have won three of their last four after starting the season 0-3. The Vikes are averaging 280.0 PYPG (3rd) and they haven’t slowed down without Justin Jefferson. The Packers (2-4 / 3-3 ATS) have lost three consecutive games. Jordan Love and the offense have been struggling.
NFL Week 8 Predictions – Game Totals
Here are the best NFL Week 8 predictions for the game total betting market:
Best Bet: Patriots vs. Dolphins Over 47 Points (-110)
These teams met in Week 2 and combined to score 41 points. Miami have scored 30+ points in four of seven games. The Patriots are allowing 25.3 PPG (24th) and Miami allow 26.7 PPG (27th). The Dolphins lead the NFL in passing yards (300.0 PYPG). With this game in Miami, I expect lots of scoring.
Best Bet: Bears vs. Chargers Over 46.5 Points (-110)
The Bears have gone over in six of seven games this season. The Bears allow 26.9 PPG (28th). They’re scoring 22.6 PPG (13th). The Chargers are scoring 24.0 PPG (T11) and allowing 25.8 PPG (25th). Both of these allow a lot of points and can score. I expect both teams to score 24+ points in this matchup.
Best Bet: Bengals vs. 49ers Over 43.5 Points (-110)
The 49ers rank second in points scored (28.7 PPG) and they’ve gone over in four of seven games. Cincy have only gone over in two of six games. These two offenses can put up points. Joe Burrow has struggled this season, but the Bengals have started to turn things around. If both teams score 21+ points, we’ll win.
