NFL Super Bowl LV Receiving Props Predictions

One of the more interesting Super Bowl props categories are NFL player props. There’s no doubt that the NFL is a passing league and games are decided by quarterbacks and wide receivers.

There are a number of outstanding Super Bowl LV receiving props from which to choose. Coach Rick picks the ones he likes best.

Cameron Brate Super Bowl Props

The Chiefs defense allowed opposing tight ends to catch an average of 5.3 passes per game during the regular season. They will go up against two pretty good ones in Rob Gronkowksi and Cameron Brate. No other tight end has more postseason receiving yards or touchdowns than Gronkowski.

Gronkowski hasn’t been used a lot in the postseason, but he and Brate could be extremely valuable to Bucs QB Tom Brady on Sunday. With Gronkowski slowing down, Brate could be the guy. Five-plus receptions for Brate pays out at +156.

Winning NFL Super Bowl Predictions

Chris Godwin Super Bowl Props

The Bucs receiver has 14 catches for 223 yards and one touchdown in the postseason. He has caught five or fewer balls in seven straight games. With Godwin priced at -263 to catch five or more passes on Sunday, there’s another wager that makes more sense.

In the three playoff games, Godwin has averaged 74.3 receiving yards a game. He caught five passes for 110 yards in the NFC championship game. Godwin is a big part of the Bucs offense and 87-plus receiving yards for him is priced at +108. That’s a better wager than number of receptions.

Mike Evans Super Bowl Props

Evans was the Bucs leading receiver this season with 70 catches for 1,006 yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s been kind of quiet in the postseason but is Brady’s top target. Evans averaged 62.9 receiving yards a game during the regular season. Evans to hit 76-plus yards is listed at +108, but Coach Rick likes Evans to reach 106-plus, which is priced at +179.

The Easy Throw

For the Chiefs, Coach Rick likes a receiving prop for RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Early in games, coaches like to give their quarterbacks easy throws to kind of get in a rhythm. Many of those throws go to wide receivers on screens or, sometimes, they will go to running backs.

Edwards-Helaire was drafted by the Chiefs primarily for his ability as a pass catcher. He caught 36 passes during the regular season and has only caught one pass in the postseason. The Chiefs running back could be a deciding factor on Sunday and I like him to catch at least three passes (+120).

Hill and Kelce Super Bowl Props

Kansas City’s combination of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce became the first pair to have back-to-back 100- yard-plus receiving games in the postseason. Kelce had 109 and 118 in the Chiefs two playoff games. Hill had 110 and 172.

Kelce is Mahomes’ go-to receiver and Coach Rick expects him to hover right around his postseason average of 113.5 yards per game. Bettors can get Kelce for 111-plus yards at +108.

Hill had a huge game in the AFC championship and is the Chiefs’ big-play guy. While I don’t expect another 170-yard performance, 117-plus is not out of the question and it pays out at +117.
