In Week 18, we really need teasers. Some teams are playing for something while others are coasting into the playoffs. Teasers will help because they will limit risk.
We have the ability to transition the spread in our favor through teaser bets. We are going to focus on the important games. However, there are more games that mean nothing than something in Week 18.
Here are my best teaser bets for Week 18!
NFL 6-Point Teaser Picks for Week 18
Best Bet: Broncos +11.5 to +17.5
When you tease a bet, you want to do it through a critical number. Critical numbers are three, seven, 10, 14, and 17 because of how football scoring works. The Broncos are an 11.5 point dog on Sunday.
Nevertheless, with the tease to +17.5, they are an outstanding bet. Denver is bad, but they will not roll over and die. Kansas City needs a win to have a chance at the one seed. However, I am sure they are content at two considering the Titans play the Texans this week.
It’s going to take a miracle for Kansas City to earn the one. I expect them to coast and Denver to cover at home.
Best Bet: Eagles +4.5 to +10.5
This NFC East rivalry does not matter because both teams are in the playoffs. However, both teams are going to play their dudes on Saturday night. The Eagles are looking for revenge from earlier in the season.
I believe they will get in on Sunday. With the tease, this is an excellent bet because Philadelphia has to be within ten. This is a lot of points at home with the Eagles dominating.
Best Bet: Lions +3.5 to +9.5
If you do not watch football, this bet may be confusing. The Lions could never beat the Packers, right? WRONG!
Green Bay is already the first seed in the NFC, so they are playing for nothing. No starters will play, which should give Detroit a great chance to cover. The Lions have been great against the spread this year.
NFL 10-Point Teaser Picks for Week 18
Best Bet: Titans -10 to 0
For the Titans, the math is simple. All Tennessee must do on Sunday is win, and they are the one seed. They have a great opportunity to accomplish this goal against the Texans.
Houston is a very bad football team. It’s tough to win in the NFL, but my money is on Tennessee. With the tease, all they must do is win the game.
Steelers vs. Ravens Prediction
Best Bet: Steelers +4.5 to +14.5
The Steelers have been inconsistent. Yet, the Ravens have not shown their ability to win late in games. This will be Ben Roethlisberger’s last game on Sunday. I expect him to go out with a bang.
This does not mean he will win, but he will be within 14 points.
Best Bet: 49ers +4 to +14
San Francisco needs a win to make the playoffs. All Los Angeles can do is improve their seeding. I do not know if the Niners will win, but the 14 point buffer makes me very comfortable.
