New Events for Summer Olympics Betting
The disciplines of karate and baseball/softball have been removed from the Olympic schedule, dropping a total of 10 events. Four events have also been removed from the weightlifting discipline, although there are several new events for 2024.
Here are the new events for Paris 2024:
- In canoeing, two sprint events have been replaced with two slalom events.
- Breaking (break dancing) is a brand-new Olympic discipline, adding two events.
- In sport climbing, the “combined” event has been split up to create separate events of “speed climbing” and “boulder-and-lead” for each gender.
On top of that, skateboarding and surfing will feature again after both sports debuted at the
Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
