On Sunday, March 9, AEW returns to PPV action with their annual Revolution event. The 2025 AEW Revolution PPV marks the sixth installment of this franchise and emanates from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Revolution is one of AEW’s core PPV events and it’s clear that the promotion is putting a great deal of emphasis on this weekend’s show. The double-digit card will feature a main event World Championship match as Jon Moxley defends his title against Adam Copeland.
However, the entire card is loaded with AEW’s top stars competing in some highly anticipated matches. Will Ospreay battles his nemesis Kyle Fletcher in a steel cage match. Kenny Omega gets a chance at revenge and the International Title in a rematch with Konosuke Takeshita.
The Hurt Syndicate, Mercedes Mone, and “Timeless Toni” Storm will all defend their respective titles in competitive matchups. But that’s not all. MJF also takes on “Hangman” Adam Page in a feud that has seen the intensity hit all new levels.
Let’s take a look at the latest AEW Revolution odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our AEW Revolution predictions.
As of this writing, the betting odds are still trickling out. Make sure to check back throughout the week for updated odds.

AEW Revolution Predictions
The following AEW predictions are for the confirmed Revolution matches. At this time of writing, not all matches have available odds:
AEW Trios Match
- Big Boom AJ & The Conglomeration (NA)
- Johnny TV & MxM Collection (NA)
This AEW trios match is scheduled to take place on the Revolution Preshow. It came about after Johnny TV bumped into AJ backstage and had a mild altercation. Eventually, the altercation led to Johnny TV challenging AJ and two partners to a trios match.
AJ would end up picking Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe as his two partners. Johnny TV already had MxM Collection has his trios partners.
For whatever reason, Tony Kahn loves Big Boom AJ and his kid. Personally, I could do without this silliness. It’s quite a drop for OC after contending for the International Title. He goes from a great match with Takeshita to a trios bout on the Zero Hour.
There’s no way we see Johnny and his boys win this match. It’s going to be a glorified squash match for Big Boom and The Conglomeration.
Bet: Big Boom AJ & The Conglomeration (NA)
MJF vs. Hangman Adam Page
- MJF (NA)
- Hangman Adam Page (NA)
Here we have a match that has really intensified over the last few weeks. It went from a spark of possibility to a raging fire between two wrestlers that hate each other.
Although their paths crossed each other a few times due to “random encounters” both backstage and in the ring, Page and MJF have actually locked up a few times in AEW over the years.
Two of the company’s prized stars have seen their share of battles against each other. Yet, this time around, it feels different than before. And, that’s partly due to Page’s character.
A few weeks back, the two had a very heated and lengthy in-ring promo that solidified their hatred for each other. It also made it a toss up as to which guy could win this match.
Last week on Dynamite, the two had another mic battle before MJF let everyone know that he beat up Christopher Daniels backstage. And, of course, we get the botch of 2025, where Daniels is seen on TV bloodying himself up even more.
All kidding aside, MJF and Page should put on a strong matchup at Revolution. Despite what the odds say, this bout is as close to even as we can get despite MJF being closer to the world title picture than Page.
With that said, I really don’t see how Page wins. It’s rare that MJF loses a PPV match and I don’t see how losing to Page will help. Hangman doesn’t need the win to continue his spot with the company. But if we’re to believe that MJF is still near the top of the mountain in AEW, then he needs the win this weekend.
Hopefully, we see MJF cheat to win and further plunge the crazy cowboy into instability.
Bet: MJF (NA)
AEW TBS Championship Match
- (c)Mercedes Mone (NA)
- Momo Watanabe (NA)
The AEW TBS Championship has seen its share of ups and downs. It’s been on a high note with Mercedes Mone wearing the belt since May 2024.
Mone won the title at the 2024 Double or Nothing PPV, becoming just the fifth ever TBS champion. She defeated Willow Nightingale in an incredible match. With that said, Jade Cargill held the belt for over 500 days, so Money has a long way to go before reaching that mark.
Hopefully, AEW finds someone else to carry this title well before then. If not, then it’s bad news for AEW and the division if they can’t find a realistic challenger to dethrone Money.
As reputable as Momo Watanabe is, she’s not a viable candidate to carry the title. AEW needs a wrestler that they can elevate with a victory over Mone. Someone who can perform in the ring and on the mic. The latter is definitely not Watanabe.
Last week, Watanabe snuck up and almost attacked Money with her signature bat. These two have yet to come face-to-face for a promo in the ring or backstage. In fact, the backstage segment last week did more for ROH wrestler Billie Starkz than it did for Watanabe.
I think this match will be fantastic between the ropes. But nobody believes Watanabe will win. And, I don’t think many fans within AEW want Watanabe to win.
Hopefully, we get Kamille to return and be the one to take down Money. But Kamille’s lengthy hiatus is just another example of Kahn and company missing the mark with their creative booking. However, I will save that rant for another day.
As for this TBS Championship match, I have zero doubts about Money retaining the title and moving on to a more entertaining feud.
Bet: Mercedes Mone (NA)
#1 Contender’s Match
- Swerve Strickland (NA)
- Ricochet (NA)
The feud between Ricochet and Swerve Strickland has been a launching pad for Ricochet to become a star in AEW. He found his mark within the company and it’s propelled the in-ring phenom into relevance and a potential world title shot.
Last week on Dynamite, it was announced that the winner of Strickland vs. Ricochet would receive a world title shot. The victor would become the #1 contender to the AEW World Title.
This was a great way to put more heat and eyes on a feud that seemed to fizzle after Ricochet’s upset victory over Strickland last month.
Now, the heat’s been turned all the way up and these two have a lot on the line. So, who deserves a world title shot more?
On a personal note, I loved watching these two stars in Lucha Underground. So, when they first teased feuding in AEW last year, I was all for it. Now, that we’re a few months into an on-air rivalry, I find myself wanting to see Ricochet cheat to win this match.
I doubt AEW will have Ricochet win again over Strickland. But it would really put him on another level if they did. It could solidify him as a top heel, which the company can always use more of.
Strickland already had his run as the world champ. And, he definitely deserves another run. However, that’s a card that they can pull out of their back pocket at any time during the year.
With that said, I think Ricochet should win this match due to cheating. Additionally, it would be great to see Prince Nana turn on Swerve.
Bet: Ricochet (NA)
Steel Cage Match
- Will Ospreay (NA)
- Kyle Fletcher (NA)
These former friends, turned rivals have put on two fantastic matches against each other. After Kyle Fletcher turned on Will Ospreay last year, their first bout came at Full Gear in November 2024. To the surprise of many, including myself, Fletcher won the match. It was an incredible bout between the two and it put Fletcher on the map as a true singles star.
Their next bout came at Worlds End in December 2024. The duo put on another stellar bout between each other. However, this time, Ospreay picked up the victory.
Instead of moving on to other feuds, the two men brought Takeshita and Kenny Omega into their rivalry. This resulted in a tag-team match between the four men at Grand Slam Australia last month.
Following their tag-team victory, Ospreay challenged Fletcher to a steel cage match at Revolution and Omega challenged Takeshita for the International Title as well.
AEW has messed around long enough with keep Ospreay’s attention elsewhere and not the world title. He lost too many big matches last year as well. It’s time to put Ospreay back into the upper echelon of the company by having him vanquish Fletcher once and for all.
From there, Ospreay can help Darby Allin get revenge on The Death Riders or enter a feud with Ricochet. There are other options for Ospreay than to be in a cycle of feuding against The Don Callis family.
AEW has become stagnant with Ospreay’s trajectory along with other wrestlers like Okada. I’m sure the promotion will go the route of Okada vs. Omega by the summer. Yet, where are they going with Ospreay?
Wherever they go with Ospreay, it needs to start with a victory over Fletcher this weekend in the steel cage. I expect this to bet the best match of the night and I’m looking forward to the creative carnage that these two men come up with.
Bet: Will Ospreay (NA)
AEW Tag-Team Title match
- (c)The Hurt Syndicate (NA)
- The Outrunners (NA)
Last week, The Outrunners faced The Murder Machines for a title shot at The Hurt Syndicate. The Murder Machines were dominating the match before The Hurt Syndicate came out and distanced them. This allowed for Turbo Floyd to roll up Brian Cage and score the upset victory.
The Murder Machines have been vocal about their desire to become world champs and beat The Hurt Syndicate. It’s certainly going to be a physical encounter once this match does happen. However, it’s going to take the long way to get there because The Outrunners will get a title shot first.
As fun as The Outrunners are, and I love the 80s, they’re no match for The Hurt Syndicate. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are going to dominate The Outrunners in this PPV bout. Eventually, they will pick up the convincing win.
I’m hoping they will enter a feud with The Murder Machines next. Yet, AEW really needs to pick up the level competition in the tag division. What was once their biggest strength, the tag division declined rapidly after Private Party became world champs last year.
It’s time to get O’Reilly and Strong, Brody and Matthews, The Young Bucks, and FTR back into the title picture. Build back up the tag division and make these belts more prominent on programming.
The Hurt Syndicate should hold the belts throughout year and not lose a match until Full Gear. Make them a dominant faction and then have Lashley turn his attention towards the world title.
Regardless of what happens in the future, The Hurt Syndicate will squash The Outrunners at Revolution.
Bet: The Hurt Syndicate (NA)
AEW Women’s Title Match
- (c)Timeless Toni Storm (NA)
- Mariah May (NA)
Just like with Ospreay vs. Fletcher, and Takeshita vs. Omega, this AEW women’s world title match is another trilogy bout between two stars.
Currently, Toni Storm is in her fourth reign as the world champ. She broke a tie with Hikaru Shida with three title reigns. However, this is the second reign for Storm as “Timeless” Toni Storm.
This is also the third time that these two women will have faced each other for the world title since last August.
Storm first won the belt at the 2023 Full Gear PPV by defeating Shida. She then held the title until August 2024, when she lost to Mariah May at the All In London PPV.
At the time of their first bout, AEW did an amazing job of bringing along Mariah May and then having her turn on Storm. She left Timeless in a pool of blood, and a star was born. That storyline led to May becoming the world champ and holding the title for nearly six months.
During her world title reign, May solidified herself at the top of the women’s division. And, in some ways, she’s been more impressive than Mercedes Mone.
Toni Storm took a hiatus after losing the bout in London. She came back a few months later as her original gimmick. Eventually, this was revealed to be a ruse as Storm turned back into her timeless character and challenged May to a world title shot at Grand Slam Australia.
In her native country, Storm defeated May to get her revenge and win the world championship for a fourth time.
Now, these bitter rivals will have their trilogy bout at Revolution and it will be interesting to see how AEW books this match.
I highly doubt we see Storm lose. Yet, having May drop a second match to Storm in less than a month seems like overkill. Personally, I’m hoping that someone interferes so that neither lose cleanly.
With that said, I’m taking Storm to win this match and move on to other feuds. Personally, I would love to see May build towards the dethroning of Mercedes Mone.
Bet: Timeless Toni Storm (NA)
AEW International Title Match
- (c)Konosuke Takeshita (NA)
- Kenny Omega (NA)
AEW created out of the blue, and not Sky Blue, the International Series which saw Orange Cassidy defeat Roderick Strong, then OC lose to Takeshita. All of this was to determine who would face Kenny Omega at Revolution.
Honestly, it made no sense for AEW to do things this way. Why would the challenge be the end result of a tournament and not the champion?
Regardless, we’re not at the outcome that everyone knew would happen – Takeshita vs. Omega.
If you recall, Takeshita beat Omega twice in 2023, with a singles victory at the All-Out PPV. This came after Don Callis turned on Omega.
Now, we get a healthy Omega taking on the man who rose to stardom on the victories over The Best Bout Machine.
Takeshita has had a nice run as the champ and as a singles star in AEW. However, it’s time for Omega to get the belt and run with it. AEW needs to keep Omega busy and out of the world title picture for now. So, here’s a good way to do it.
Plus, I can see Omega heading to a few other promotions around the world or AEW bringing in international stars to face him for this belt. In all honesty, Omega holding this belt could bring more prestige and excitement moving forward.
Regardless of how AEW proceeds with Omega and the International Title, I don’t see one of wrestling’s top stars losing this weekend. Not after it took him a year to come back from serious health issues.
Bet: Kenny Omega (NA)
AEW World Championship Match
- (c)Jon Moxley (-260)
- Adam Copeland (+170)
The main event of the PPV is an AWE World Championship match as Jon Moxley defends his title against Adam Copeland. These two men have been locked in a feud for the last few months since Cope returned from his leg injury.
Moxley has been the world champ since WrestleDream last October, when he ended Bryan Danielson’s in-ring career and The Death Riders started running roughshod over the promotion.
Moxley and company have been the top faction in the promotion. Yet, it feels like his time as world champ is coming to an end. With that said, I can see a few different scenarios playing out this weekend for the world title match.
First, we see a new member join The Death Riders and help Moxley win the match. This would keep the faction at the top of the roster, keep the belt on Mox, and add more fuel to this storyline that seems to be running on fumes creatively.
A second option is to have Cope beat Moxley to win the title and begin a new era in AEW. Copeland could outsmart The Death Riders by having his own support team like FTR and Jay White.
A third option is to have White turn on Copeland and cost him the title without joining The Death Riders. This could set up a main event feud between White and Cope for the next month or so.
A fourth option, which is my favorite one, is to have Copeland win the match due to any of these factors above. But then Christian Cage comes out and cashes in his world title contract to hit a finisher on Cope and win the championship.
I would absolutely love the latter scenario. Unfortunately, I have too many doubts about AEW’s booking. Their creative inconsistencies are enough to drive fans like me insane.
With that said, it’s time for a new world champ. Take Cope to become champ.
Bet: Adam Copeland (+170)
