2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four Odds, Predictions and Schedule

Last Updated on

The 2025 NCAA men’s Final Four odds have been updated and it’s time to make your final wagers for who will reach (and win) the NCAA Men’s Championship this year.

Kudos to Jay Bilas, who took the heat of predicting a “boring” Final Four, where he suggested all four #1 seeds would get this far. In a year with precious few upsets or even iconic moments in March Madness, he ended up being spot on.

It’s not that difficult to see why, as the final four teams in this year’s tourney truly are the best teams in the nation. Which ones will make it out of the Final Four and play for a title, though?

Ricky Bobby used to say if you’re not first, you’re last. Is it also true, then, that if you can’t cut down the nets at the end of March Madness, then you’d have been better off in the NIT Tournament?

Perhaps, and perhaps not. Let’s dive into the 2025 Final Four odds and get to some College Basketball picks you can rely on.

The 2025 Final Four schedule is laid out as follows:

NCAA Final Four 2024

We can often learn about how to bet on the Final Four by looking back at history. Here are the teams that advanced to the Final Four last year.

  • UConn
  • Alabama
  • NC State
  • Purdue

UConn got back to the Final Four and managed to repeat as NCAA champions. Purdue was expected to make a run at the title and while they did reach the championship game, they finished as runner-up.

NC State was a Cinderella team that was definitely not expected to make a run all the way to last year’s Final Four, and naturally bowed out prior to the NCAAM title game.

Florida Gators (-144)Auburn Tigers (+124)Florida Gators (-144)

There is value to be had with betting on the 2025 Final Four. Granted, there was a heck of a lot more value in betting on which teams would make it this far, but I digress.

The point is we now know which four teams are here, and no matter which #1 seed you like, you’re getting a solid price. The Duke Blue Devils are the top favorite to win the whole thing at this point, and after getting out of the Elite 8 despite a ho-hum game out of their best player, it’s easy to see why.

Still, you can get solid money for both Final Four underdogs. Auburn and Houston are two very good teams that absolutely have a shot to escape their matchup and play for a title. You can see which side I am going with for both games, but I dive further into both matchups to back my pick.

Duke Blue Devils vs. Houston Cougars Odds

  • Point Spread: -4.5 (-110), +4.5 (-110)
  • Game Total: O 136.5 (-110), U 136.5 (-110)

The Duke Blue Devils made it out of the East Region, just as everyone expected them to. Cooper Flagg overcame an injury to return to this team and help them cruise to the Sweet 16, where they fended off a solid Arizona team.

Offensively, Duke has been firing on all cylinders throughout their 2025 March Madness journey. When Flagg wasn’t quite at his best in Duke’s last game, the team rallied around him and stepped it up on the defensive end of the floor to best a good Alabama team by 20.

Houston faces their stiffest test to date. Kelvin Sampson’s crew did well to survive some tough matchups and make good on their #1 seed and overall potential. It’s tough to envision this being the team to upend Flagg and co., but you can’t say Houston isn’t capable.

While not nearly as dominant as Duke, Houston proved their worth in the Midwest Region with tough games against Gonzaga and Purdue before wiping the floor with Tennessee. They earned their way here, and there’s reason to believe there’s a chance at an upset.

Duke Blue Devils vs. Houston Cougars Predictions

Betting against the Blue Devils feels like a mistake. It certainly was a mistake during the regular season, and it’s definitely been the wrong move so far in this tournament.

When speaking of teams of destiny, Duke has felt like one ever since signing on Cooper Flagg. The big man has done nothing but exceeded expectations en route to 18.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He has been a dominant player at both ends of the floor (1.3 blocks per game), and he’s also been quite dynamic (4.2 assists per game).

It’s not just about Flagg, though, and anyone who doubted that were reminded of Duke’s other weapons when the Blue Devils took out Alabama with elite defense amidst Flagg’s second lowest scoring output of the tourney.

Duke is a problem. This is not just the 6th best offense in the nation, but it’s also the 5th best defense. Flagg eats you up down low, can spread the floor, and his teammates can kill you from deep (top 10 in three-point makes and three-point percentage).

Houston could still be the direct answer to Duke’s offense, of course. Houston is one of the few teams that can say they’re better than the Blue Devils on defense (#1 scoring defense in the country), while they’re 13th in three-point percentage allowed.

If you’re looking for Duke’s kryptonite, it could very well be the Cougars. That said, Flagg could will Duke into the title game alone. But he has the supporting cast, defense, and coaching to give him all the help he needs.

Houston’s defensive aptitude and own three-point shooting give them a shot and make them a very compelling Final Four upset pick. I just don’t think they’ll actually get it done.

Bet: Duke Blue Devils (-215)

Florida Gators vs. Auburn Tigers Odds

  • Point Spread: -2.5 (-110), +2.5 (-110)
  • Game Total: O 160.5 (-110), U 160.5 (-110)

The Auburn Tigers were pretty dominant in the South Region. They did have to survive a nail-biter against Michigan to punch their Final Four ticket, but they were otherwise a tough team to hang with.

Auburn is known for their offense (11th in the nation in scoring), but their defensive bite is arguably what got them this far. The question will be if it can stay as lively as it has been against a tough Florida squad.

On the other side are the Gators, who are also a #1 seed and are admittedly a bit more battle tested. I don’t know what’s more impressive – coasting through most of your region, or outlasting some gritty opponents. Florida definitely had the latter path, as the West Region gave them two very tough battles.

Ultimately Florida executed when it mattered most, dispatching the defending champion Huskies in round two, and edging out a pesky Texas Tech squad in the Elite 8.

Florida Gators vs. Auburn Tigers Predictions

These are two extremely talented teams. They both held the top seed in their respective region, and while they endured very different tests along the way, they earned their place in the 2025 Final Four.

Florida is presently the favorite to make it out of this battle, and that has a lot to do with their path potentially preparing them for a huge test. That comes as a surprise to some, as Auburn (32-5) were the top seed coming into the 2025 March Madness tournament. By all accounts, they haven’t done that much to suggest they can’t get past the Gators.

In theory, Johni Broome and co. are an amazing betting value. That said, these teams did face off earlier this year and Florida won (90-81). Is there enough to say things will be greatly different this time around?

Florida held onto a lead the first time they faced Auburn. It’s actually their ability to erase deficits that may give them the edge here. The Gators made an improbable rally late against Texas Tech in their last game, awakening the narrative that this could be a team of destiny.

Walter Clayton Jr. continues to excel under immense pressure, and if you didn’t know, consider that as good as Auburn’s offense is – Florida’s is even better. On top of that, this is a capable defensive team that does not let teams catch fire from long range (6th in 3-point percentage allowed).

Auburn offers elite betting value as the pre-tourney top seed. However, Florida had their number earlier this year, is more battle tested, and refuses to die in tense spots. I wish they were the underdog here, but their -144 moneyline is still a beautiful sight for bettors.

Bet: Florida Gators (-144)
