South Carolina – a legit powerhouse – won the national championship with an 87-75 win over Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes. However, the Gamecocks are underdogs heading into this year’s Final Four at +260 to win the championship. UConn is listed at -160 to win it all.

Texas Longhorns vs. South Carolina Gamecocks Odds

  • Spread: South Carolina −4.5
  • Total: O/U 126.5
  • Moneyline: Texas +170 | South Carolina −205

South Carolina and Texas will meet for the fourth time this season in a Final Four showdown that already feels familiar. The Gamecocks have won two of the three prior matchups, including a dominant 64-45 victory in the SEC Tournament Championship where they held Texas to their lowest point total of the season. That win was powered by Chloe Kitts, who earned tournament MVP honors after leading the way with 15 points, and by a defense that completely smothered Texas star Madison Booker.

Booker, who averages over 16 points per game, is the engine of the Texas offense. But she’s struggled against South Carolina’s length and discipline, shooting just 25.9% from the field across their three meetings. Bree Hall has been instrumental in slowing her down, consistently applying pressure on the perimeter and limiting clean looks. Texas will need a big game from Booker – along with meaningful contributions from Kyla Oldacre in the paint and Rori Harmon at the point – to have a chance.

South Carolina, meanwhile, is loaded and showing no signs of slowing down. Dawn Staley’s squad isn’t just stacked with talent—they’re organized, defensively elite, and seasoned in high-pressure games. Their ability to control pace, protect the rim, and frustrate opposing stars has been the foundation of their dominance over the past couple of seasons. Unless Texas can force South Carolina into foul trouble or hit from deep early, it’s hard to see the Gamecocks letting this one slip away.

Ultimately, Texas is tough and battle-tested, but South Carolina has consistently proven to be a level above. With more depth, more experience, and a head-to-head track record that speaks for itself, the Gamecocks are the smart pick to advance to the national title game.

Texas Longhorns vs. South Carolina Gamecocks Predictions

Texas has the grit and defensive chops to hang, but South Carolina’s depth and experience should carry them late. If the Gamecocks get anything going from three, they could cover comfortably. Expect Kitts – the Birmingham Regional MVP – to be a difference-maker.

Bet: South Carolina Gamecocks (-205), Gamecocks -4.5 (-110)

UConn Huskies vs. UCLA Bruins Odds

  • Spread: UConn −8.5
  • Total: 135.5
  • Moneyline: UConn −410 | UCLA +320

UCLA and UConn meet in a high-stakes Final Four matchup that’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive games of the tournament. UCLA enters with a 34–2 record as the No. 1 overall seed, having cruised through the bracket with wins over Southern, Richmond, Ole Miss, and LSU. Led by head coach Cori Close, the Bruins bring a well-balanced attack and serious size in the paint, highlighted by 6-foot-7 Lauren Betts, who averages 20 points per game. Guard Kiki Rice adds another layer of scoring and playmaking, giving UCLA plenty of options on both ends.

UConn, on the other hand, may be a No. 2 seed, but they’re entering as a sizable favorite—and for good reason. Paige Bueckers is playing at the peak of her powers, fresh off a 31-point performance in the Elite Eight against USC. Alongside Azzi Fudd and freshman Sarah Strong, the Huskies have found their rhythm at just the right time. Despite dealing with injuries throughout the season, Geno Auriemma’s team is finally healthy and clicking when it matters most.

One of the biggest battles to watch will be in the paint. UCLA will look to leverage Betts’ size and interior scoring, while UConn will try to stretch the floor and speed up the game with its dynamic backcourt. If the Huskies can limit Betts’ impact down low and force UCLA into tough perimeter shots, they’ll be in a strong position. Conversely, if the Bruins can disrupt Bueckers’ rhythm and control the boards, they could very well pull the upset.

This game has the makings of a classic. UConn’s experience and star power give them the edge on paper, but UCLA’s depth, defense, and post presence make them a legitimate threat. Expect this one to be tight into the final minutes.

UConn Huskies vs. UCLA Bruins Predictions

UCLA is a dangerous team that won’t go quietly, but UConn’s combination of elite guard play and coaching gives them the edge. The Bruins could keep it close, but UConn should move on.

Bet: UConn Huskies (-410), UCLA Bruins +8.5 (-110)
