2024 NFL Week 13 Odds and Predictions

Week 13 of the 2024-25 NFL Season gives us plenty to be thankful for. Not only do we get our three annual Thanksgiving Games on Thursday, November 28, but we will also get a second annual Black Friday game.

And, that’s not all, as football fans and bettors will be treated to some big-time matchups on Sunday, December 1. We can also be thankful for the fact that all 32 teams will be playing this week.

Per tradition, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will be playing on Thanksgiving. The Lions kick off the holiday slate of action against the Chicago Bears. That game will be followed by the New York Giants and Cowboys, which should be the perfect time for a food coma as the Giants aren’t expected to be a winning team this year. The Turkey Day primetime game will see the Green Bay Packers host the Miami Dolphins in a fantastic nightcap.

The Black Friday game is almost poetic as the Kansas City Chiefs host the silver and black, Las Vegas Raiders. In addition to the holiday games, we will also see some intriguing Sunday-matchups as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals, the Seattle Seahawks fly east to battle the New York Jets, and the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Baltimore Ravens in a massive showdown between two of the league’s top teams.

However, the main event of the weekend, and possibly the entire week, is the Sunday Night Football game as the Buffalo Bills host the San Francisco 49ers in what some fans hope will be a Super Bowl 59 preview.

With that in mind, the full slate of NFL Week 13 Odds is not available as of yet. This means that there’s still plenty of time to examine our NFL betting analysis for information and predictions on players, all 32 NFL teams, Divisions, Conferences, and the 2025 Super Bowl.

Key NFL Week 13 Games

With Week 13 of the NFL season featuring all 32 NFL teams, there are a few key Week 13 games that stand out from the rest:

Thanksgiving Day Games

As mentioned above, and per tradition, there will be three NFL games on Thanksgiving:

The Lions have played 84 times on Thanksgiving and have a 37-45-2 record. Ironically, their very first game on Turkey Day was in 1934 against the Bears. This will be Chicago’s 38th appearance on Thanksgiving and they have a 20-15-2 record.

The Dallas Cowboys have played 56 times on Thanksgiving and boast of a 33-22-1 record. This will be the New York Giants’ 17th appearance on the holiday and they have a 7-6-3 record.

The Miami Dolphins are making their 8th Thanksgiving appearance and have a 5-2 record. It’s one of the best Thanksgiving Day winning percentages in NFL history. The Green Bay Packers have a 15-20-2 Thanksgiving record, which is one of the worst winning percentages for the holiday.

Black Friday Game

For the second straight year, the NFL will hold a game on Black Friday. Yes, the day that became synonymous with shopping and dreading the scales, is now being taken over by the NFL. Presumably, for the NFL to make more money on merchandise and for Amazon to add another few billion dollars in online sales.

With that said, this Week 13 AFC West matchup pits the Las Vegas Raiders against their bitter rival the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the second of their two annual games. The first is being played in Week 8.

Last year, the Raiders pulled off a huge upset victory in Kansas City. It brought their record to 2-2 at Arrowhead Stadium over the last four years.

Can the Raiders continue their road success at the Chiefs or will Kansas City spoil the holiday weekend for Las Vegas by winning for the seventh time in the last eight meetings (not including Week 8)?

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

This Week 13 AFC North clash marks the first of the two annual games between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. Their second, and final meeting of the regular season, will take place in Week 18.

This Week 13 game also marks the 110th time that these two rivals have played against each other. The Steelers hold a commanding lead in this rivalry, with a series record of 70-39. They’ve also won three of the last four matchups. Pittsburgh swept the Bengals last year without Cincy QB Joe Burrow on the field.

Can the Steelers continue their winning streak over the Bengals or will Cincinnati snap their losing skid against Pittsburgh?

Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This AFC South divisional battle will be the second and final regular season matchup between these two rivals. The Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars will first play against each other in Week 4, with the Texans hosting that matchup.

Not including their Week 4 tilt, the Texans leads this series with a 29-15 record. They’ve also won 10 of the last 12 meetings, which does not include Week 4’s result. Lastly, the Jaguars have gone 0-6 in their last six home games against Houston.

At this point of the season, the loser of this divisional meeting could end up dropping out of contention for the AFC South title, especially if they also lost in Week 4. Houston is expected to be one of the top teams in the AFC, but Jacksonville is considered a mixed bag with inconsistent play and a tough schedule this year.

Can the Texans continue their winning ways against the Jags or will Jacksonville snap their six-game losing streak at home against Houston?

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Baltimore Ravens

This exciting Week 13 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens is not just for the birds. In fact, some pundits and fans think that it could be a preview of Super Bowl 59. The same can be said for the SNF game, which we’ll break down next.

The Eagles and Ravens are also odds-on favorites to win their respective divisions. However, at this point in the season, those odds could change if either team struggles throughout the middle portion of the year.

These two teams have played against each other six times. The Ravens have a slight edge in this series with a 3-2-1 record. The Ravens are 2-0-1 in their last three home games versus the Eagles.

Which conference favorite will pick up the huge Week 13 victory and carry that momentum into the final portion of the season?

San Francisco 49ers vs. Buffalo Bills

The San Francisco 49ers are concluding one of the toughest, if not the toughest portion of their season by heading to Western New York to battle the Buffalo Bills.

Prior to this Week 13 game, the 49ers will play against their divisional rival the Seahawks in Week 11 and then on the road at the Green Bay Packers in Week 12. That’s three intense games in a row and two of them on the road in extremely tough environments.

These two teams have played against each other 13 times and the Bills hold the slight advantage with a 7-6 record. Buffalo has also won the last two matchups. Surprisingly, out of those 13 games, only five of them have been in Buffalo. The Bills are 3-2 in those home matchups versus the 49ers.

One more thing to note, the Bills will be coming off a Week 12 Bye. So, they have an extra week of rest and preparation before facing the 49ers.

In this potential Super Bowl preview, will the 49ers snap their losing skid against the Bills or will Buffalo extend their winning streak to three straight over San Francisco?
