2025 NXT Roadblock Odds, Predictions and Match Card

Last Updated on

On Tuesday, March 11, WWE’s NXT promotion will take center stage with their 2025 NXT Roadblock event live from the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. This marks the sixth installment of the Roadblock franchise and features stars from both the NXT and TNA promotions.

The first two installments of Roadblock were held in 2016, and limited to just the WWE RAW brand. This franchise was then shelved until the WWE brought it back in 2022. Since then, it’s been used exclusively for NXT.

The 2025 edition of Roadblock features numerous world title matches with more than just championship gold on the line.

In two of the matches, legacies will also be on the line as The Hardy Boys compete for the TNA Tag Titles and, in the women’s division, Giulia faces Stephanie Vaquer in an NXT women’s unification bout.

Also on the card is Oba Femi defending his NXT title against Moose, a New York City Street Fight, and so much more.

Let’s take a closer look at the available NXT odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our NXT Roadblock predictions. This NXT event has a 7:30 pm ET start time on The CW.

NXT men’s world champion Oba Femi is the largest favorite on the night. Despite wrestling for another promotion, The Hardy Boyz are large favorites over the NXT tag-team champs. Yet, the one match that surprised me with the listed odds is the winner take’s all match.

Stephanie Vaquer enters as a sizable betting favorite despite taking on Giulia who is the NXT women’s world champion.

NXT Roadblock Predictions

The following NXT Roadblock predictions are for the confirmed matches as of this writing:

Women’s Singles Match

  • Jordynne Grace (NA)
  • Roxanne Perez (NA)

These two women have a bit of recent history with each other. It stems back to the 2024 NXT Battleground event last June, where Roxanne Perez successfully retained the NXT women’s title against Jordynne Grace when the latter was still with TNA.

This fact came up in a war of words between the two stars on the February 25 episode of NXT. Eventually, Perez said she would send Grace back to TNA which prompted the latter to go into a fit of rage and attack Perez. The next week on NXT, Perez would attack Grace backstage.

I struggle to understand why the WWE has not brought Perez up to the main roster full time. She’s more than capable of competing on either main show. Additionally, she’s already participated in big matches and has feuded with main roster wrestlers. So, it’s becoming silly to keep Perez in NXT.

The only thing I can think of is that the WWE is going to bring her up full time after WrestleMania 41. So, I guess this means that Perez will be used to put others over. I’m taking Grace to win this match as she really needs some momentum moving forward and hopefully into the NXT world title scene.

Bet: Jordynne Grace (NA)

New York City Street Fight

  • Ethan Page (NA)
  • Je’Von Evans (NA)

This intense rivalry stems back to last December. Je’Von Evans actually created the hatred between the two men after he made fun of Ethan Page for losing the NXT and NXT North American belts last year.

Eventually, Page would snap and decimate Evans with a chair. It led to Evans missing time due to a broken jaw. Page wasn’t done there. He then went after Cedric Alexander and broke his hand with a toolbox before the WWE released the latter from the promotion.

Page continued his path of destruction by taking out Dante Chen on the January 14 episode of NXT. He pummeled Chen’s legs with steel steps. This attack led to Evans’ return and subsequent attempt to save Chen.

The back and forth heat between the two led to NXT GM Ava making a match between Evans and Page for NXT Vengeance Day. Page ended up winning that match but the feud wasn’t over with.

On the February 25 episode of NXT, the two men faced off in a tag-team match that saw Evans and his partner win. Eventually, Ava would make this street fight for the Roadblock PPV.

I see Evans winning this bout at Roadblock and evening up the series between the two wrestlers. Then, hopefully, we get a rubber match that Page will win.

Bet: Je’Von Evans (NA)

TNA Tag Team Title Match

  • Hardy Boyz (-400)
  • Nathan Frazer and Axiom (+250)

At TNA Genesis in January, Nathan Frazer and Axiom showed up and sat ringside as they watched The Hardy Boyz defend their TNA tag titles. After a quick tease for a fight, nothing came of it. That was until a month later when The Hardy Boyz appeared in NXT.

This was the first time that The Hardy Boyz appeared as a tag-team in the WWE since 2019, and they went on to beat No Quarter Cash Crew. After the match, Frazer and Axiom came out and confronted the brothers.

Eventually, this led to TNA’s shot caller Santino Marella appearing and making a TNA tag-team title match between the two teams for Roadblock.

Frazer and Axiom are six months into their second title reigns as NXT tag-team champs. However, they won’t be putting the NXT titles on the line. Instead, this match is just for the TNA tag belts.

The Hardys are currently over four months into their third TNA title reign. They defeated The System at Bound For Glory last October.

Personally, I would’ve loved to see this match for both tag-titles. Perhaps we can still see that happen. Maybe WWE will decide to have The Hardys win this match, then Frazer and Axiom to win an NXT tag-title match, and then a rubber match for both championships of which The Hardys win.

Bet: Hardy Boys (-400)

Winner Takes All Match

  • Stephanie Vaquer (-350)
  • Giulia (+225)

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, Stephanie Vaquer is my favorite NXT wrestler in both the men’s and women’s division. In fact, other than Charlotte Flair, Vaquer is my favorite women’s wrestler in all of WWE. I’m very excited to see this match where the NXT will crown an undisputed women’s champion.

This match came about over the last few weeks. However, these two talented wrestlers have had a rivalry for quite some time. They used to battle it out in New Japan. So, it’s really cool to see the rivalry continue in NXT. For as much criticism as I give the WWE for doing stupid bookings, this was a great idea.

Giulia won the NXT championship at New Year’s Evil about two months ago. Vaquer won the North American women’s title at Vengeance Day. So, neither have been champs for that long.

After Vaquer won her match on February 25, Giulia came out and stated that she was a better champ. This was in rebuttal to Vaquer previously claiming that she was the best women’s champ in NXT.

The two champions would exchange words before Giulia challenged Vaquer to a winner take’s all match for both titles. GM Ava agreed to the match, and here we are.

In my opinion, Vaquer is a star. A win over Giulia and holding both belts will confirm this. And, it will accelerate her ascension to the main roster. I anxiously await this match and will be rooting for Vaquer to win.

Bet: Stephanie Vaquer (-350)

NXT Championship Match

  • Oba Femi (-1600)
  • Moose (+600)

Oba Femi successfully retained his NXT world title at Vengeance Day. After his match, he was then attacked by a new heel group. On the February 18 episode of NXT, Femi came out and demanded that the group finish the job. He was then interrupted by Moose. The two men agreed that they needed to face each other soon.

On February 20 episode of IMPACT, Moose and his group were laying waste to Slater and The Hardys before Femi appeared to make the save.

This led to Moose successfully defending his TNA X Division title on the February 25 episode of NXT. After the match, Femi said he would defend his world title against Moose at Roadblock.

Despite Moose being one of TNA’s best wrestlers for the better part of the last decade, he’s a huge underdog for this match. Oddsmakers and the top handicappers are all siding with Femi to retain his belt.

I have to agree here. I don’t see Moose winning the title over NXT’s top male wrestler right now. Instead, I see Femi winning a fantastic bout and hopefully setting up a future rematch. With The Hardys also wrestling on this event, maybe we can get some huge brawl to close out the show.

Bet: Oba Femi (-1600)
