It’s entertainment betting season. All the big stars in Hollywood are making their rounds, with major award shows already in the rearview mirror. The Golden Globes already sounded off, and with each passing night of trophies being handed out, we get one step closer to the Oscars.
The Grammys aren’t even relevant in the acting realm, but even that awards show happened already. Before the Hollywood hype train reaches the promised land, though, it has to stop by some smaller shows like the BAFTAs and the SAG Awards.
The best part?
The Oscars aren’t the only betting market you can take advantage of. The 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards odds are live at online sportsbooks, so let’s check out the latest pricing and come to some winner predictions.
What Are The Screen Actors Guild Awards?
The Screen Actors Guild Awards are the rare film awards show that are dedicated solely to the craft of acting. Most awards shows in Hollywood praise everyone working on major motion pictures, but the SAG Awards only recognize the finest actors of the past year.
Over 4,000 SAG-AFTRA members vote on nominees and decide which actors and actresses win each year.
When Are The Screen Actors Guild Awards?
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards fire off on February 23rd. Nominations went live on January 8th, and winners will be announced when the show hits your TV screen at 8:00 pm EST.
The 31st annual SAG Awards will air live from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California and will be hosted by Kristen Bell.
How To Watch Screen Actors Guild Awards?
You can tune into the 31st edition of the SAG Awards via Netflix, which will stream the event live globally.

The SAG Awards are interesting to bet on because they often detach themselves from what we’ve already seen on the Hollywood awards show circuit. They also don’t really tell us what’s going to happen at the Academy Awards, either.
Due to this, you can take shots at some unlikely upsets. I honestly don’t see the harm, either, especially since several of the categories offered at online sportsbooks have massive betting favorites.
Are you really betting on Kieran Culkin at his -1500 price tag? I wouldn’t imagine so. That’s probably a bet best left avoided, or if you are wagering on it, the suggestion would be to take a shot on a worthy contender.
That said, I have some SAG Awards picks in mind. You can roll with my Screen Actors Guild Awards predictions as they stand, or read on for further analysis. Want even more advice? Sign up for a free trial of our sports betting handicapping service.
Screen Actors Guild Awards Predictions
Check out our predictions for the 31st Screen Actor Guild Awards:
Best Actor
- Timothee Chalamet (-150)
- Adrien Brody (EVEN)
- Colman Domingo (+600)
- Ralph Fiennes (+1500)
- Daniel Craig (+2500)
This is easily Timothee Chalamet’s best shot at winning best actor on a major stage this year. I thought he’d have a reasonable chance at the Critics Choice Awards, but as is the case everywhere these days, Adrien Brody got the nod.
One could argue that Brody is an amazing betting value at EVEN, as he’s been cleaning up and feels like a lock to secure this same hardware at the Oscars in March. However, Chalamet has perhaps the most underrated performance of the year, as he portrayed Bob Dylan as well as anyone ever has.
I’d give Ralph Fiennes a cursory glance at his gaudy +1500 betting odds, too. Conclave would be sweeping the awards shows in any other year, but due to the massive impact of films like The Brutalist and Anora, it’s being overshadowed.
Realistically, of course, the best actor winner comes down to Brody and Chalamet. Chalamet comes in as the favorite here, so I’ll throw him a bone and cross my fingers he snags one before Brody closes the awards season out in style.
Bet: Timothee Chalamet (-150)
Best Actress
- Demi Moore (-400)
- Mikey Madison (+250)
- Cynthia Erivo (+900)
- Karla Sofia Gascon (+1200)
- Pamela Anderson (+2000)
Craving SAG Awards upsets? I’ve got another one up my sleeve. If you want to play it safe, there’s no doubt that Demi Moore’s gritty, soul-searching performance in The Substance is the clear favorite.
Her -400 odds tell us that, but the aging actress looked at herself hard in the mirror, delivering a self deprecating and revealing portrayal of how women see themselves, how society treats women, and how everyone deals with aging and fading beauty.
While that performance was amazing, Mikey Madison was the frontrunner early in the year, as she dazzled as a naive sex worker falling in love in Anora. She’s probably your second best bet here, both from an odds perspective and based on her success at numerous smaller awards shows.
And yet, I’m drawn to Pamela Anderson.
Anderson got snubbed at most of the other big awards shows and ultimately didn’t even get an Oscars nomination. That feels criminal, as she basically played a similar role as Demi Moore, but was arguably much more revealing, transparent, and authentic.
The setting in her film was more realistic and more relatable, while it hit a bit harder with Anderson emerging from the acting abyss to finally flash actual, raw acting talent. Maybe it’s me just pulling for the surprise performance of the year, but Anderson is extremely deserving and her +2000 odds are to die for.
Bet: Pamela Anderson (+2000)
Best Supporting Actor
- Kieran Culkin (-1500)
- Yura Borisov (+500)
- Edward Norton (+500)
- Jeremy Strong (+1200)
- Jonathan Bailey (+1500)
While I don’t mind going against the grain with best actor and best actress, I will eat the chalk and admit it is extremely unlikely anyone but Kieran Culkin wins for best supporting actor.
Culkin was painstakingly real in a performance filled with raw emotion and serious depth. He’s also cleaned up all season long in the awards game, and his nasty -1500 odds warn you not to bet against him.
He’s the pick, but if you must stray from the obvious choice, I think Edward Norton is interesting at +500. He played legendary singer Pete Seger extremely well and was an underrated piece of the A Complete Unknown puzzle.
That said, all roads lead to Kieran Culkin. If you’re betting on this market, he’s the pick, but I’d probably just leave it alone due to the staggering price.
Bet: Kieran Culkin (-1500)
Best Supporting Actress
- Zoe Saldana (-500)
- Ariana Grande (+200)
- Jamie Lee Curtis (+1500)
- Monica Barbaro (+2000)
- Danielle Deadwyler (+2000)
The same goes for best supporting actress. Zoe Saldana earned the role of a lifetime in the musical Emila Perez, and she responded by delivering the best acting performance of her career. That earned her nominations at every major awards show, and she’s been collecting hardware ever since.
Saldana is without a doubt the best part of that film, and even with the negative press surrounding it, she keeps piling up wins. Her -500 price suggests that won’t be stopping at the Screen Actors Guild Awards this year.
Still, if you want to stretch your neck and go for an upset, Ariana Grande is gaining a little steam. She was a perpetual scene-stealer in Wicked, and her singing alone makes her a worthy selection. The +200 odds attached to her don’t stink of an impossible bet, either.
I don’t hate it, but Saldana crushed her role and has been winning left and right. I expect that to continue.
Bet: Zoe Saldana (-500)
Best Movie Cast
- Wicked (-125)
- Anora (EVEN)
- Emila Perez (+150)
- Conclave (+400)
- A Complete Unknown (+1500)
Wicked is favored to win for best movie cast, and I can’t really provide a strong argument against that. The moving film has a star-studded cast of massive names that not only carried a deeply emotional story, but also provided humor and top shelf singing and dance numbers.
Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Peter Dinklage, and Jef Goldblum take center stage and none of them disappointed in the least. If you want to back the favorite here, nobody would blame you.
It’s deserving, but the price suggests it isn’t a runaway win. Anora has the second best odds, but in terms of raw star power, it really isn’t the next movie in line. That’d be Emila Perez. Once again, the film has a lot of negativity surrounding it, but Zoe Saldana, Selena Gomez, and newcomer Karla Sofia Gascon were extremely impressive, and the rest of the cast was sensational.
Want big names that knocked it out of the park? I’m not sure any cast touches Conclave. The iconic Ralph Fiennes leads the charge, but he was aided by Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, and surprise star Isabella Rossellini.
All things told, I love the value of the under-appreciated Conclave.
Bet: Conclave (+400)
Best Stunt Ensemble
- The Fall Guy (-700)
- Dune II (+300)
- Deadpool & Wolverine (+1000)
- Wicked (+1200)
- Gladiator 2 (+1600)
There should be more 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards betting markets out there, but when I sat down to write this guide, the list ended at best stunt ensemble.
It’s a fine enough spot to wrap things up, as Ryan Gosling’s romantic action comedy was actually a lot of fun, and even a bit touching. Aaron Taylor-Johnson stepped in to add some humor, while Gosling and Emily Blunt provided timely comedy and romance.
Of course, the movie is built on the lives of thankless heroes, putting Hollywood stuntmen and women front and center for the first time ever. The story itself is enough to get the nod here, but the actual stunt work done in the film takes the cake.
Nobody would be upset if elite action movies like Dune II, Deadpool & Wolverine, or Gladiator 2 stole the show, but it’d be very fitting for The Fall Guy to win at the end of the day.
Bet: The Fall Guy (-700)
