TGL Championship Predictions

Los Angeles Golf Club looks like the team to beat with their balance of talent and experience. Collin Morikawa’s precision and Tommy Fleetwood’s consistency give them an edge in this format, while Justin Rose and Sahith Theegala round out an incredibly versatile roster. LAGC looks like a worthy favorite, though it’s not like there isn’t elite talent elsewhere.

New York Golf Club isn’t far behind, with Matt Fitzpatrick’s calm under pressure and Xander Schauffele’s ability to deliver in clutch moments. Their roster’s depth makes them a strong contender. Schauffele may be the best individual player in the league, which has to count for something. At +350, New York looks like a solid bet with slightly more upside than a wager on LAGC.

Boston Common Golf could play spoiler with Rory McIlroy leading the charge. His explosive play, combined with steady performers like Hideki Matsuyama and Adam Scott, makes them a dark horse to watch.

Jupiter Links GC has incredible upside with Tiger Woods and Will Zalatoris leading the way. If Tiger is healthy and in form, their odds might be undervalued. Of course, Tiger is also pushing 50, which makes him the oldest player by a sizable margin.

New York Golf Club is my pick for the championship. Their lineup is built for consistency and adaptability, which are crucial in this fast-paced format. This isn’t an easy league to predict given the uncertainty surrounding the unique format, but I’m confident that Schauffele’s presence alone will be enough to keep NYGC firmly in the mix for the first-ever league title.
