On Saturday, November 2, the WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for the 12th time as they hold their sixth annual Crown Jewel event. The PPV show will emanate from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, which has hosted two previous Crown Jewel events in 2021 and 2023.
However, unlike previous editions of this Premium Live Event (PLE), the WWE has created a Crown Jewel Championship for the winner of their Men’s and Women’s Champion vs. Champion matches.
There has been some grumbling over this idea fans and pundits online. For me, I love the idea of seeing two champions fight for bragging rights. With a split roster, this is a great way for the WWE to create excitement over their champions facing each other. Let’s just hope there will be a satisfying conclusion to each match and not cheap ways out like interference of double disqualification.
Currently there are seven matches scheduled for this event as WWE still has plenty of time to add more bouts if desired. Additionally, as of this writing, not all of the WWE Crown Jewel odds are available for this weekend’s event.
The Crown Jewel opening odds were released by Wednesday, October 30. That means there will be more odds coming as the week progresses, and you need to keep an eye on any changes in the lines between now and Saturday.
The 2024 WWE Crown Jewel PLE has a 1pm ET start time on Peacock. Let’s take a closer look at the available WWE odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our WWE Crown Jewel predictions.

WWE Crown Jewel Predictions
The following WWE Crown Jewel predictions are for the confirmed matches as of this writing:
Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
- Seth Rollins (+150)
- Bronson Reed (-200)
The feud between these two men started about three months ago. Bronson Reed savagely attacked Seth Rollins on an August 5 episode of RAW and put the superstar out of commission for a while. Rollins would remain off of WWE programming until the September 30 episode of RAW.
Upon his return, Rollins sought revenge on Reed. So, he interfered in the Last Monster Standing match where Reed was battling Braun Strowman. Rollins’ interference would cost Reed the match.
Since the return, Reed and Rollins have had several altercations which led to a match being scheduled at Crown Jewel.
I like that the WWE has given Reed some shine with this feud against Rollins. However, I don’t see the big man winning this weekend.
Now, that we’re officially cracking the Holiday season, focus will shift to closing out 2024, and then turning attention to the 2025 Royal Rumble which means WrestleMania season officially begins.
You can count on Rollins being a key figure for the run to WrestleMania. At some point the WWE will pull the trigger on a feud with Rollins and CM Punk as they haven’t fully settled their differences.
I think that could begin at any moment from Crown Jewel to Survivor Series. Keep in mind, CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series last year and ruffled the feathers of both Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Punk finally settled his feud with McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood earlier this month, so that still leaves Rollins.
So, that still leaves Rollins for a primary feud moving forward. I’m surprised at the oddsmakers listing Reed as such a “big” favorite for this match. Did you see what I did there?
But seriously, Rollins doing the job for Reed at Crown Jewel makes little sense. WWE needs to get Rollins back up the ladder and primed for another push, not losing to a guy who’s not even close to the main event level as of yet. There’s value with Rollins as I think he’s one of a few underdogs that can win this weekend.
I expect “Freakin” to pick up the victory this weekend and eventually make his way to a big money feud with Punk for WrestleMania season and possibly even the 2025 WrestleMania PPV itself.
Bet: Seth Rollins (+150)
Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
- Randy Orton (+250)
- Kevin Owens (-400)
After the conclusion of Bad Blood, Kevin Owens came out and attacked Cody Rhodes as the latter was exiting the arena and getting into his bus.
If you recall, Owens had been a supporter of Rhodes for the last few years as they feuded with the various forms of The Bloodline.
Eventually, the two friends would have a match at Bash in Berlin as Rhodes felt that Owens deserved a title shot. Of course, Rhodes would go on to win that match.
Rhodes would then go on to team up with his longtime nemesis Roman Reigns at Bad Blood to take on The Bloodline. Reigns returned at Summer Slam and began his slow burning revenge tour against his former faction. This led to both Rhodes and Reigns having a common enemy.
Little did Rhodes know that his teaming with Reigns would create a new enemy – Kevin Owens. Following his bus attack, Randy Orton tried to intervene and keep the peace as he’s friends with both Owens and Rhodes.
That ended up irritating Owens even more, so he would go on to attack Orton on the October 11 episode of SmackDown. And like with Rhodes, Owens would attack Orton in the parking lot. Apparently, Owens feels that Orton chose Rhodes over him.
Either way, Owens is now a heel for the first time in over two years, which is what I prefer. As for Orton, he went from feuding with Gunther to a feud with Owens. Unfortunately for “The Viper,” he’s going to end up losing another feud.
Owens is getting a push and Orton is not. It’s as simple as that. And, it’s probably due to the WWE buttering up Owens to keep him from leaving the company. Whether he’s officially re-signed with the WWE, or close to it, I’m sure this push has something to do with it all.
As for this weekend, take Owens to win via some kind of heel tactic. I’m not surprised at all by the large odds for Owens considering his current storyline and trajectory for a championship feud with Rhodes. I would think that online betting sites release a prop bet on Owens getting involved in the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship match.
Owens is one of the largest betting favorites for this weekend’s show. So, there’s no value to his odds. Yet, I’m slightly surprised that sportsbooks didn’t list him at a higher price. I would jump on this now before his odds increase even further.
Bet: Kevin Owens (-400)
WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match
- (c)Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (-700)
- Damage CTRL (+800)
- Meta-Four (+900)
- Chelsea Green and Piper Niven (+300)
Over the last month or so, the women’s tag-team scene has been a potpourri of chaos. Every time there was a tag-team match with title implications on the line, another team would interfere. This interference spanned all three of WWE’s shows: RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
So, the general managers of these shows got together on the October 25 episode of SmackDown, and decided to make a fatal four-way match for the tag-team championships.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven from SmackDown, Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) from RAW, and The Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) from NXT will challenge the champions of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
Cargill and Belair are two-time champions having first won the belts at Backlash France in May 2024. They defended the titles at Clash at the Castle: Scotland in June 2024, and lost to The Unholy Union (Albay Fyre and Isla Dawn).
However, Belair and Cargill would regain the championships at Bash in Berlin at the end of August. If you count The Kabuki Warriors winning the titles at the end of January 2024, then these belts have changed hands four times this year. Will there be a fifth time?
Typically, these types of matches are a great way to have the champs lose the belts without losing momentum or equity with the fans. In fact, Belair and Cargill lost the titles to The Unholy Union in a triple-threat match back in June.
With that said, it would be absolutely silly for the WWE to do the same thing to Belair and Cargill again. Having them lose the titles in a multi-team match for the second time in less than five months is just lazy booking.
That’s why I’m leaning towards the champs retaining the belts and moving into a more direct feud. Perhaps, another tag-team will materialize for Survivor Series or after this PLE in Saudi Arabia.
As you can see by the betting odds, the tag-team champs are large favorites to win this match. I believe that oddsmakers are assessing the situation similarly to what I listed above. It just makes zero sense to have the champs lose the belts this weekend. None of these challengers have the same star power as Belair and Cargill.
However, if you are feeling froggy and want to jump on an underdog, then take Sane and Sky (+800). At the very least, these two ladies have had success in the WWE as singles and tag-team competitors. And, they’ve been a part of a faction that has had plenty of on-air exposure.
Bet: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (-700)
United States Title Match
- (c)LA Knight (+120)
- Andrade (-150)
- Carmelo Hayes (+600)
With all of the other matches containing WWE’s biggest stars, this United States title match is being overlooked by many but not me. I’m actually looking forward to this matchup as all three men are very talented in the ring and they storyline for this bout has been solid.
Andrade and Carmelo Hayes have been feuding with each other since July. The two men have been embroiled in a best of seven series. On a side note, I’m a fan of these best of seven storylines and recently suggested that AEW use this for Will Ospreay and Ricochet.
Nevertheless, Hayes and Andrade were tied at three wins apiece and set to conclude the series with their seventh match on the October 25 episode of SmackDown.
Also, over that span, LA Knight successfully defended his title against both men on SmackDown. He faced Andrade on September 20 and Hayes on October 11.
Knight was appointed as the special guest referee for the seventh match between Hayes and Adrade. The bout ended in a no contest as Knight decided to attack both men. Ultimately, this led to GM Nick Aldis making a triple-threat match for Crown Jewel where Knight has to defend the US Title.
LA Knight won the belt at SummerSlam by defeating Logan Paul. So, it’s only been about three months since Knight captured the title after a long flirtation with the belt.
With that in mind, I don’t see Knight losing the belt just yet. He’s the perfect star to keep the belt relevant. As cool as it would be to see Andrade or Hayes win, neither man can elevate the belt like Knight does. It would be a step down. I’m taking LA Knight to win the match.
Before moving on to the next match on the card, I must say that the odds for this bout really surprised me. I’m curious to see if they shift by Saturday as LA Knight being an underdog makes little sense to me.
I’ve been a fan of Mr. Charlotte Flair (Andrade) for many years now, but it doesn’t feel like the right time to make him champ. Plus, if you are going to elevate someone to become a credible champion, then it shouldn’t be done via triple threat match.
For Hayes and Andrade, their elevation to US Champ should be done in a singles feud against Knight and then beating him one-on-one. Otherwise, it’s just silly booking in my opinion.
I love LA Knight’s odds for this matchup and feel that any line where he’s the underdog, especially at plus money odds, is a steal to me.
Bet: LA Knight (+120)
Six-Man Tag Team Match
- Roman Reigns and The Usos (NA)
- The Bloodline (NA)
If you have followed the WWE for the last few years, then you know all about the backstory to The Bloodline from Roman Reigns to Solo Sikoa.
Just in case anyone doesn’t, we’ll do a quick recap of what’s happened this year.
After Roman Reigns lost the Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, he took a long hiatus and didn’t return until SummerSlam. Over that absence, Sikoa took over as the leader of The Bloodline and added new members in The Tongans and Jacob Fatu.
Sikoa would unsuccessfully challenge Rhodes for the title on multiple occasions including Summer Slam where Reigns returned and cost Solo the match. Eventually, The Bloodline would wage war against Rhodes and Reigns, which resulted in a tag-team match at Bad Blood.
After his own lengthy hiatus, Jimmy Uso returned to help Reigns and Rhodes win the match. This led to Jimmy telling Reigns on the following SmackDown that they needed more help to fight The Bloodline.
Reigns wasn’t interested in bringing back Jey Uso after the latter left the group and went on to have a strong single’s run. So, Jimmy took it on his own accord to go and try to bring his twin brother back into the fold.
Initially, Jey turned down his brother. This also opened the door for The Bloodline to recruit Jey. However, during their recruitment efforts, The Bloodline cost Jey his IC match on the October 21 episode of RAW.
So, Uso got his revenge by causing The Tongans to lose their tag-team title match on the October 25 episode of SmackDown. Later on, in that same episode, The Usos would reunite while Reigns was watching on.
This then led to Jey stating on the October 28 episode of RAW that he would show up on the November 1 episode of SmackDown, which is the night before Crown Jewel, to make amends with Reigns. A six-man tag match was made for Crown Jewel and now we’re all caught up on the latest chapters of this epic Bloodline storyline which will make for a great WWE special one day.
As for the winners of this match, you have to like The Usos and Reigns to win. Their reunion is big news. Plus, this should set up a Survivor Series match between both sides. While The Bloodline has four members, Reigns and The Usos only have three.
That’s where I think Sami Zayn enters this storyline once again. If you recall, he was an honorary member a long time ago. Zayn returning to reunite with The Usos and Reigns would be a sweet storyline that could lead to these eight men fighting at Survivor Series.
Bet: Roman Reigns and The Usos
Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match
- (c)Nia Jax (+110)
- (c)Liv Morgan (-150)
At Bad Blood, both Liv Morgan and Nia Jax defended their women’s world championships. And, each superstar would successfully retain her title as Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley with the help of Raquel Rodriguez and Nia Jax defeated Bailey after Tiffany Stratton interfered.
This women’s world title match has a David vs. Goliath feel. Jax is 6-feet tall and roughly 250 pounds, while Morgan is only 5’3 and probably half of Jax’s weight.
With that said, both women have support from other wrestlers that could interfere. Jax has Stratton, but there have been some issues bubbling up between the two. Morgan has The Judgement Day to help her, especially Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez.
This bout could easily end up as a DQ or a No Contest due to outside interference, which is why both of these Crown Jewel Championship matches could be hard to predict and bet on. So, whichever way you go, make sure to place small wagers due to the WWE being known to take the cheap way out.
I think either The Judgement Day or Stratton end up costing Jax the match. If it’s Stratton, then that could lead to their feud. Take Liv Morgan to win this match even though Jax deserves to be the inaugural women’s Crown Jewel champ as she is the most dominant force in the division. And she’s this year’s Queen of the Ring.
As you can see by the opening odds, sportsbooks feel that Morgan will win the match. Yet, they have the odds listed much closer than the men’s odds which we’ll break down further in the section below.
I actually think that the oddsmakers got these odds right. Morgan should be the slight favorite as it feels like the WWE can get more out of her winning than a perceived Jax victory.
Plus, having Stratton or anyone else interfere to help Morgan is a good way to keep Jax looking strong and advancing multiple storylines just like with the men’s Crown Jewel championship match.
Bet: Liv Morgan (-150)
Men’s Crown Jewel Championship Match
- (c)Cody Rhodes (+200)
- (c)Gunther (-300)
Just like with the women’s Crown Jewel championship match, the men’s match faces the same possibilities of outside interference and cheap booking as the women’s match does. Both Cody Rhodes and Gunther have feuds brewing outside of this match, which could boil over into the outcome for this Crown Jewel championship.
As mentioned above, Rhodes is in a heated feud with Kevin Owens. Both men will be in Saudi Arabia. As of now, Gunther’s upcoming rival Bill Goldberg is not expected to be at Crown Jewel this weekend.
I bring these up because there’s a great chance that we don’t have a clean finish for this matchup. Rhodes hasn’t defended his world title since before Bad Blood as he was in the tag-team match with Reigns.
Gunther last defended his belt against Sami Zayn on the October 7 episode of RAW. It was the conclusion of a longstanding rivalry. However, he has Goldberg on deck as the wrestling “icon” stated that Gunther was next.
Of the two men competing in this match, Gunther could use the rub even more. The Ring General is still being built up as one of the elite stars of the WWE. Cody Rhodes is already at this level along with guys like Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
Having Gunther win this match will boost his stock even more and set him up for a big money match against Goldberg.
I’m taking Gunther to win this match due to Owens interfering and costing Rhodes the victory. Survivor Series could see Gunther vs. Goldberg and Rhodes vs. Owens.
One last thing, Owens interfering and costing Rhodes the match is exactly something that a heel KO would do. If WWE doesn’t book this, then they’re seriously dropping the ball. Get Owens more heat!
As for the Crown Jewel odds, Gunther as a sizable betting favorite makes sense. As I laid out above, Gunther needs this victory far more than Rhodes does. Additionally, the possibilities of interference from The Bloodline and definitely Kevin Owens, makes it even more likely that we get a Gunther victory.
I actually see Gunther’s odds increasing between now and the PLE on Saturday. So, lock in this minimal value before your return on investment shrinks even further.
Bet: Gunther (-300)
