These are our NFL predictions and picks for the 2026 season: a written prediction for every game each week, with the call we make and the numbers it rests on. All 16 games of Week 3 have a prediction up, and so do all 16 of Week 4.

The season opened on Wednesday 9 September. Week 3 runs from Thursday 24 September to Monday 28 September, when the Philadelphia Eagles play at the Chicago Bears. Week 18 closes the regular season in January 2027, and ESPN has not set its kickoff times yet. Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Last season
The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX, beating the New England Patriots 29-13 on 8 February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Seattle led 12-0 after three quarters. New England scored all 13 of its points in the fourth.
The same two teams opened the 2026 season in Seattle, and the Seahawks won again, 13-10.
How NFL betting works here
Each prediction names a side or a number in one of three markets.
- Point spread: the favorite has to win by more than the line, and the underdog covers by losing by less or winning outright. A standard price of -110 means risking $110 to win $100.
- Total: the combined score of both teams, and you bet whether it lands over or under the number.
- Moneyline: who wins the game, with no points given. A favorite at -200 pays $50 on a $100 bet, and an underdog at +170 pays $170.
In the NFL, final margins bunch up on 3 and 7, the value of a field goal and a converted touchdown. Of the 285 NFL games played in 2025, regular season and playoffs, 46 were decided by exactly 3 points and 26 by exactly 7. No other margin came up more often. That is why a line moving from 2.5 to 3, or from 6.5 to 7, matters far more than a move from 4.5 to 5. Our NFL betting guide goes further into each market.

Do you publish a prediction for every NFL game? Yes, every game each week, starting with Week 2 of 2026. The next week’s games go up early: all 16 Week 4 predictions were published by 21 September.
What happens to a prediction after the game? The page is refreshed with the final score. The pick stays on it exactly as we published it, win or lose.
What if the final margin lands exactly on the spread? That is a push. The bet is returned, which is why a line of 3 and a line of 3.5 are very different bets.
