2023 NFL Super Bowl Futures Odds

With Super Bowl LVI wrapped up, we already start looking at next year. After the Los Angeles Rams big win over Cincinnati, fans might expect LA and its stellar roster to be the favorite heading into next season. That’s not the case.

Here’s an early look at the 2023 NFL Super Bowl futures odds.

Chiefs and Bills Lead the Way

There was some uncertainty with the status of Rams DT Aaron Donald and head coach Sean McVay. There is no way either is retiring and both will be back next year.

That speculation is why the LA Rams are not at the top of the 2023 NFL Super Bowl futures board. That honor belongs to Kansas City.

The Kansas City Chiefs have the NFL’s most explosive offense with Patrick Mahomes, TE Travis Kelce, and WR Tyreek Hill all returning. The defense was much improved over the latter part of the season and that’s why KC is given +700 odds to win it all next year.

Right behind the Chiefs is Buffalo and QB Josh Allen. Allen is an absolute stud and the Bills defense was the best in the NFL during the regular season. At some point, Buffalo has to get to the next step and win a conference championship. The Bills are listed at +750.

Possible Repeat?

As mentioned, the Rams are not the favorite heading into next year. LA is listed at +1000 odds to repeat, something that hasn’t been done in almost two decades.

The Bengals are given +1100 odds, but just getting back to the playoffs is going to be difficult for Cincy. The AFC is loaded with the Chiefs, Bills, last year’s No.1 seed Tennessee, the Ravens, Chargers, and a handful of others that could be dangerous if they figure out their quarterback situations.

AFC Longshots

It’s no secret that quarterback is the key to winning a Super Bowl. In the AFC, you have Mahomes and Allen and also Lamar Jackson in Baltimore and Justin Herbert with the LA Chargers. Both teams make solid longshot bets at +2000.

If the Broncos (+1800) or Steelers (+4000) solve their quarterback problems, either team is a worthy longshot because of their defenses.

QB Carousel

Where some big-name quarterbacks end up will play a role in the race for the 2023 Super Bowl. If Aaron Rodgers stays in Green Bay, the Packers are attractive at +1600. If he lands in Denver, that makes the Broncos a real threat.

Russell Wilson is also likely on the move as could be the 49ers Jimmy Garoppolo. The Niners are given +1400 odds right now. With the retirement of Tom Brady, the Bucs are further down the board at +2500.
