2023 XFL Week 3 Odds and Predictions

We’re heading into Week 3 of the 2023 XFL regular season.

This week’s action starts with a single game on Saturday and ends with a tripleheader on Sunday. The Defenders, BattleHawks and Roughnecks remain undefeated at 2-0 this season.

I went 3-1 on my Week 2 picks and will look to continue that trend this week.

Sea Dragons vs. Vipers Picks for Week 3

When: Saturday, March 4th 2023 at 7:00 PM ET

Spread: Sea Dragons -3 (-110) vs. Vipers +3 (-110)

Total: Over 38 Points (-110) vs. Under 38 Points (-110)

The Vipers (0-2) host the Sea Dragons (0-2). One team will pick up a win. Seattle’s Ben DiNucci leads the XFL in passing yards (478) and Jahcour Pearson leads the league in receiving yards (173).

Vegas have the second-worst point differential (-14). The Vipers have only scored 26 points through two games. DiNucci will lead the Sea Dragons to their first win on Saturday to kick-off Week 3 action.

Football Betting Lines

BattleHawks vs. Defenders Picks for Week 3

When: Sunday, March 5th 2023 at 1:00 PM ET

Spread: BattleHawks +2 (-110) vs. Defenders -2 (-110)

Total: Over 37 Points (-110) vs. Under 37 Points (-110)

The BattleHawks (2-0) and Defenders (2-0) look like they’ll battle it out for first place in XFL North. DC are scoring 20.0 PPG and allowing 12.0 PPG, while Seattle score 18.0 PPG and allow 21.0 PPG.

DC have the best rushing attack in the XFL. DC have rushed for 313 yards, no other team has rushed for 200+ yards yet. A.J. McCarron has thrown for 374 yards, 3 TDs and 0 INTs for St. Louis.

This is a close game, but I’m siding with the Defenders, due to their run game and defense.

Guardians vs. Renegades Picks for Week 3

When: Sunday, March 5th 2023 at 4:00 PM ET

Spread: Guardians +9 (-110) vs. Renegades -9 (-110)

Total: Over 37 Points (-110) vs. Under 37 Points (-110)

The Renegades are coming off a loss to Houston (23-14). Arlington are scoring 18.0 PPG and allowing 21.5 PPG. The Guardians (0-2) have the worst offense (12.0 PPG) and defense (31.5 PPG).

QB Drew Plitt has thrown for 292 yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs for the Renegades. Sal Canella is third in the XFL in receptions (11), but he hasn’t found the end zone yet. I’m betting on this game going under.

Brahmas vs. Roughnecks Picks for Week 3

When: Saturday, March 5th 2023 at 8:00 PM ET

Spread: Brahmas +4.5 (-110) vs. Roughnecks -4.5 (-110)

Total: Over 37.5 Points (-110) vs. Under 37.5 Points (-110)

The Brahmas (1-1) and Roughnecks (2-0) have had the best offenses to start the XFL season. Houston rank 1st in scoring (28.0 PPG) and San Antonio rank 2nd in scoring (22.5 PPG).

Houston’s Brandon Silvers is 2nd in the league in passing yards (445) and tied for 1st in passing TDs (4). Both of these offenses have been moving the football effectively and I’m betting on the over.
