2024 NFL Super Bowl Futures Betting Odds

We’re going to analyze the 2024 NFL Super Bowl futures odds.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles (38-35) last night to win Super Bowl LVII. It was the third highest-scoring Super Bowl in history and the Chiefs won their second title in the last four years.

Kansas City have played in three of the last four Super Bowls.

Super Bowl LVIII Contenders

The Chiefs (+600) are favored to win Super Bowl LVIII and for good reason. Patrick Mahomes will look to continue building a dynasty, but they have some weaknesses at wide receiver and on defense.

Being the preseason favorite to win the Super Bowl hasn’t been a good thing. Only six teams have won the NFL Super Bowl as preseason favorites. It last happened in 2018 with the New England Patriots.

Four other teams are paying less than 10/1 odds to win the 2024 Super Bowl.

The Buffalo Bills (+700), San Francisco 49ers (+800), Cincinnati Bengals (+900) and Philadelphia Eagles (+900) round out the top five in the Super Bowl LVIII futures betting market.

The Eagles were +2200 to win Super Bowl LVII before the season started and there’s a good chance they will struggle to match this season’s success. The 49ers have a lot of questions at QB this offseason.

Buffalo and Cincinnati will be contenders with Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.

Both teams have work to do if they want to win Super Bowl 58, though. It starts with resigning key players hitting free agency, but both teams have holes on the roster to fill through the upcoming NFL draft.

Where’s the Value?

There’s really no rush jumping on the preseason favorites as their odds will remain close to the same for a while, but now is a great time to hunt for any potential value that’s available in the market.

The New York Jets (+2800) and Las Vegas Raiders (+4000) appear to be two of the top potential landing spots for Aaron Rodgers. If he moves to either team, that team’s futures odds will shorten by quite a bit.

The Los Angeles Chargers (+2200) are an interesting option as well. The Chargers have a lot of talent on offense and should be improved, but they need to win once the playoffs start.

Another interesting option is the Minnesota Vikings (+4500), as they’re getting no respect. The Vikings are another team that performs well during the regular season, but can’t find a way to win in the playoffs.

The Vikings should dominate the NFC North, especially if Rodgers leaves the Green Bay Packers. If they can get into the playoffs, you’ll be able to hedge a bet on the Vikings at 45/1 odds.
