On Friday, February 2nd, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena will host the eagerly anticipated event. We cover all the key details, including the new format, outright odds, and contender analysis.

2024 NHL All-Star Skills Format
This year’s NHL All-Star Skills will feature a revamped format, with 12 players competing for points in eight events. At the end of it all, the player with the most points receives $1 million in prize money.
The 2024 All-Star Skills challenges are split across three rounds: Round 1, Round 2 and the Final. Below, we break down how the new format works.
Round 1

- Rogers NHL Hardest Shot
- Upper Deck NHL Stick Handling
- NHL One Timers
- NHL Passing Challenge
- Cheetos NHL Accuracy Shooting
Each player will compete in four of the six events in the first round. At the end of the first round, the eight players with the most points advance to the second round.
Round 2
- Honda NHL One-on-One
Each player chooses the goalie they want to shoot against. Following the one-on-one shootout, the six players with the most points progress to the final.
Final Round
- Pepsi NHL Obstacle Course
Ultimately, the player with the most points after all eight events will be crowned the winner.
