It was a slow week in the NBA, what with the Young Stars and the All Stars games over the weekend. Still, our handicappers managed to come out with more than $1,300 in profit between them.
Here’s how they did it, and the games we’ll be watching in Week 18.
Three Handicappers Tied for First
Last week saw three of our top NBA handicappers tie for first place, all with a 3-0 record and $300 in profit. Gino De Luca is no stranger to the leaderboard, but we also welcomed Timothy Black and Jimmy Liu.
As you can see below, they all bet on different games. De Luca played it safe with spreads, even betting the Mavs to cover the spread.
Black was the only of the three to wager on the Young Stars event from the weekend, and he bet a spread for the Global Stars. Liu spiced things up with a totals wager on the Bucks and Timberwolves game, and managed to get his money’s worth there.

The Best NBA Handicappers Last Week
Last week was a slow week for the NBA, but our handicappers managed to eke out a few bucks with the bets they made.
They went 15-1 for a combined win rate of 93.75%. Together, they managed to win $1,390. It’s not the best NBA profit week in recent history, but it’s still not bad!
We do see a few new faces on the leaderboard, including Timothy Black and Jack Jones.
Sports Central Misses on the Rockets
Sports Central could have snagged the number one seat last week if they had won their Rockets spread. Unfortunately, they’re stuck with their 4-1 record after the Rockets lost to the Warriors 105-98.
Where We’re Betting This Week
Tomorrow we’ll be watching the Magic play the Hawks. The Magic right now is 27-29 while the Hawks are 26-29, so they’re juggling back and forth for the #7 spot in the Eastern Conference. There’s still plenty of time for either team to pull ahead, but these two teams have been neck and neck for a little while now, so we’re bound to see a good showing.
Later, we’ll watch the Bucks and the Clippers, also two closely aligned teams. The Clippers are doing slightly better, but it’ll be a neat game to watch.
And of course, we have to watch the Thunder crush the Jazz on Friday. We love watching the best team in the league play one of the worst teams.
