Chiefs’ AFC, Super Bowl odds tighten after thumping Ravens

The Kansas City Chiefs separated as clear Super Bowl LV favorites following their 34-20 victory at the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

The Ravens had pulled even with the Chiefs and passed them at some sportsbooks after beating their first two opponents by a combined score of 71-22. But their 14-point home loss to the Chiefs included reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson passing for only 97 yards and the offense producing only 13 points while playing from behind most of the game.

Co-favorites with the Ravens at +500 by DraftKings after Week 2, the Chiefs were being offered at +400 on Tuesday, followed by the Ravens at +650. The Chiefs had even shorter odds at SportsBetting.com (+375), with the Ravens +650.

The Chiefs are also now +210 favorites to win the AFC Championship, followed by the Ravens (+300) and Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers, who are both +800.

The 3-0 Seattle Seahawks are the third Super Bowl betting favorite at +1000 at both sportsbooks, while being offered at +400 to win the NFC.

The Green Bay Packers have seen their Super Bowl odds shorten to +1400 at DraftKings and +1100 at SportsBetting.com after also starting 3-0, highlighted by a 37-30 victory at the New Orleans Saints, the previous top contender in the NFC.

The Packers are even with the Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at DraftKings, with the Bucs moving from +1800 a week ago.

The Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans, expected to be playoff contenders entering the season, have plummeted to +10000 longshots following 0-3 starts, while the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings have dropped to +5000 and +6600, respectively.

While the Eagles are 0-2-1, they are only a half-game out of first place in the NFC East, whose four teams have combined for a 2-9-1 start. The Redskins remain +17500 longshots at DraftKings despite being tied atop the division with the Dallas Cowboys (+1800).
